If somebody had perfect genes, then yes, it would propogate only perfect genes. But nobody has perfect genes, so there will always be bad ones that are propogated.

Either way, every child that comes from interbreeding is like putting two people carrying the harmful gene into the genepool, and the more you interbreed, the higher the risk of disease - Either way, just one generation will still produce 50% unhealthy children, and 75% of the rest will have unhealthy kids themselves.
