One lap at Montreal - Nascar 09

Nope, it is a public road of a man made island though.

There is however a track at Mirabel airport.

Thank God EA is done with NASCAR, now we can get someone like Codemasters to make a real NASCAR sim. They're already nearly done with F1 2010, which looks like it will be an extremely realistic sim, so They should be able to do a true NASCAR sim, like the ones Papyrus made. The only good thing Nascar 09 had was Graphics, the rest seemed rushed and it seemed no one even cared what the Final product looked like.

Im considering getting 09 now that there isnt a new one coming out this year, and from that video, the handling looks quite good. Is it comparable to Forza or Gran Turismo??

not even. To me, GT4 (the version i got) has cars that understeer way too much. At the same time, NASCAR 09 has cars that steer way to sensitively.

Understeer? Say what? Depends on what your driving but most of the RWD cars when set properly have neutral handling at the limit, with a hint of understeer, MAYBE. Almost all the NASCAR games I have played have horrible control.

On GT4, there are cars that understeer a little, but it depends on your technique - GT4 is really fiddly with regards to that, simple changes in your driving style, e.g. harder braking into turns, can change how all cars handle. It's that kind of game.

As for the next NASCAR game...I heard somewhere that GT5 has got the NASCAR license for themselves now that EA has lost it, but I figure that can't be true, they can't have EXCLUSIVE rights to it, there still has to be a new standalone NASCAR

game with complete focus on the NASCAR series and tracks, rather than it being a bolton or seperate feature in another more widespread racing game IMHO. I do know for sure that GT5 has at least access to the NASCAR license seeing as its been confirmed that the COT and liveries will be in it.

mm... this track doesnt come with the game, you have to buy it on "Playstion Store" or "Xbox live". The price was 3-4$, i dont remember exactly.

But, before to buy it, you must know this track is ONLY for Nationwide Cars, you can run here with Super Sprint Car or Trucksman cars. But you can run here with a Race Now and in Training mode and in online, if the rest players have the track too

yeah, Nascar 08 was sick, but 09 is a really good game. I think Codemaster wont make a good game (look at games like: Dirt, Grid...)

yeah, go to ps store-->add ons--> disc-based game add ons--> and here, in the 6th line, there are 5 games, the 4th one is nascar 09, go in--> and there u have the track and the 3 add on skin pack (i recommend u dont buy it)

But u must know u just can use montreal with nationwide cars in a separated race, practise and also online if the rest of player have also bought it. This isnt avalaible in the championship (i think)

Ok thank you. Thats fine if its just for the Nationwide cars as honestly I don't really care for Cup anyhow. Also, is there something wrong with it since you recommened I don't buy it? I've had plenty of practice on it from F1CE (and some Rfactor) so I know the layout.

Oh, i expressed wrong: the track is really good and i like it (EA could make it into the game ¬¬, they just want more and more money...)

What I saying is that I dont recommend u buy the skin packs, i dont have it, but i know how are they and they could be free because they are not a good option to buy.

But the track yeah, is good and if u like it, is a good option
