@johnbormida,Very little of the body's serum cholesterol comes from what a person eats. Most comes from the liver.Eat less and your body produces more and vice versa.Studies have shown that no matter how much dietary cholesterol is consumed, serum cholesterol rose by no more than 6%. It is carbohydrates that raise cholesterol levels via insulin production; they increase VLDL which leads to glycation and greater plaque production. Saturated fat still has no linkage to cholesterol issues.
Rob, 5 eggs alone is a ton of cholesterol, unless you mean whites... and especially with all the animal protein you speak of as well... might wanna get some blood work done and make sure your cholesterol levels arent through the roof, just my 2 cents
@johnbormida actually, there is a south african and swiss study stating that there is very little corelation between the cholesterol from eggs and the cholesterol that appears in blood tests. but it's still up for debate. There is material out there from the New England Journal of Medicine worth checking out.
Do you or have you used any supplements? Such as multivitamins, fish oil, etc, basically the usual prescribed 'base' supplements. And also, have you ever tried any testosterone boosters (not talking about anabolic steroids) and or hormonal products?
Is it good to eat raw eggs? When I workout in the morning I eat 1 raw egg after.
