Eddie was First and always will be!He changed the way everybody plays guitar.Eddie invented the technique of playing the fretboard with both hands.Not to mention his chord progressions.Harmonics,whamy bar,And things I cant think of.
@semiLivedj Eddie didn't invent two handed technique it was around for years, he made it popular though and took it to new levels. Vai is inspired by EVH but there's no competition why must everything be compared in a competitive way, EVH took it from where Hendrix left it and Vai has took it that bit further from where EVH left it.
