Poker chips are much bigger compared to coins, so that same spot you use for coins may not be as effective. Try placing the chip higher in your palm.

i have been trying for hours and hours and have gotten absolutely nowhere.. my palms simply refuse to hold on to the coin (quarter, looney, or tooney) or the poker chip that i use.. the ONLY comfortable place in my hand to hold the object is right in the centre of my hand, and i don't think that trick will allow for the object being in the centre of the hand, will it? can ANYBODY pleeeease give me some advice on this????

I just tried this for the first time and got it in five minutes. The trick, as he does in the video, is to place it more towards the wrist than the centre of the hand, as close as you can to the biggest part of your thumb muscle. I actually used some baby powder because my hands were a little sweaty and the coin kept slipping. Before you try to hold/palm it naturally, practice jamming it into your hand and finding the best fit. Seriously, practice will make perfect. :)

Very David Stone. A move I've always fancied learning but I don't know whether I can really be that bothered with if it needs that much practice. I see it as more of a curiosity to show people. I like the Anti-gravitational aspect. My initial reaction to it was "How the hell ??" It appears to float up into the air like a cork in water. Quite magical. Of course if the spec. tries it they can't even get close to achieving it and even better is that they struggle to guess how it's achieved.

I used to be so fustrate at this, i'd quit. But now i have gotten pretty good at it. My best is about 2.5 feet vertical into my other hand. It makes a really red raw spot near my thumb, so I do it every other day or so. I usually do it about 10 times to get my height better =D. keep trying, it took me like 200 times to get it to plop out of my hand. About 300 to get it going vertical
