Strathcona resident: I hate the idea of a stadium in my neighbourhood. How would it be good for my kids? We live a few blocks from GM place but that doesn't mean we get to go to games or skate on the ice. Same with a soccer stadium. It will only mean that people come to my neighbourhood and disrespect its environment and residents [particularly the marginalised].
