Sorry to burst your bubble......but this is not the famous picture "The Kiss".
You have a side shot picture of that moment from another photographer.
The famous pic "The Kiss" has Times SQ in the background and that sailor in white off to the the left of them not on their right!

Sorry if I am mistaken. Maybe it is a blowup of the famous photo which may be why the Times Square background is not fully seen. Or maybe a reverse image? I looked it up on the web and all the photos under images came up just like this one describing the famous VICTORY KISS photo. But if I am wrong, thanks for the correction. Thanks for watching!

I just google image- victory kiss and the second image on that first page has the true award winning photo "THE KISS". You have the side shot. I know this because, again the sailer in WHITE is to the RIGHT of them in YOUR picture.
In the famous picture from the FRONT the sailor in WHITE is to the LEFT of them....also the frontal picture has her full body right down her white shoes in view with Times SQ in the background.......sorry I don't understand how you can't see the difference.....

Wow, you got a great sense for detail. I would have never noticed that. The first picture that comes up on my AOL search is similar to the picture I have in the video but I see what you mean about the sailor's position in other photos. Is this the same couple, though? Just different positions? Thanks for being so observant. This is fascinating!

Actually, the photographer is very famous. His name is Eisenstadt. There's even a statue version of the photo on the waterfront in Sarasota, Florida...
