This episode shows just how important Donatello is to the team because his episode contains their most famous villain (and deadliest). It's better than Raph's stupid motorcycle race or Mikey's superhero whatever. Leo's was o.k. Donny's the tech and the man (turtle) with the plan, and he can fight with his hands if he has to (fight as good as can be in a kid's cartoon). Who does Leo turn to for advice in a fight? Donny!! But The Shredder is still the boss no matter what the writers intend.

Alright, hold the phone, Donatello has never been the person that holds the team together, definitely should have sent Leo through the time stream, if he left then the team would destroy itself from within. Still all this is plausible, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

@binkz2 I think that they need leo and Donatello the most really. I think without any one of team the team would fall part. They need leo because he is the leader and he pretty much keeps the team together and he fights the best. They need donatello because he's smart and he has gotten them out of situations before and he is a important part. Every team need the brains of the group and the skill and everyone else is just helpers. I like mikey and ralph but I don't think they are as important.

@binkz2 Actually I think without Donatello and Leonardo the team wouldn't work. I mean Leonardo is the leader that keeps everything together and he is the most skilled fighter. Donatello is the genius, who always has an idea and can build anything to help them out in situations and that is an important part of a team. Every team needs a guy with the brains and the guy with the skills and the rest of the team are helpers. I like mikey and ralph but I don't think they are as important.

@binkz2 I really don't think that only one of them is responsible of holding them together. Every one of them holds personal qualities that the others lack which makes their "team" so powerful: Leo's leadership, Raph's passion, Don's kindness and Mikey's brightness. Sure their skills are important as well but for the team to work as a whole you need all of these traits. If any of them left I think they would fall apart.
