Lee Westwood slow motion swing

My swing is ugly,bent elbows, not much follow through, but I send the ball straight and a reasonable(for an amateur) distance. I think its where the ball ends up that's important.

Lee Westwood is one of the best golfers around, hate it how people bag him for not having won a major. Loads of players have won majors and done nothing else in the game!

his swing is more with the left makes sure he stays below and striking level.the weird turn isnt a made turn..its weight shift naturally..if it bothers u so much dont watch him...but dont hate him..he's world number 1 now

I admit that Lee's swing looks a bit funny. I think it is his hunched over posture through impact. That said, ho does not have a chicken wing. Lee has a great swing plane and path. the club pretty much comes from the inside and back to the inside. In swinging back to the inside, the left arm must bend just as the right arm was bent when approaching the ball from the inside. We are so used to seeing inside to out swings where both arms extend outward after impact.

mr steven keys are in the grip and release to rid yourself of chicken wings and they are caused mainly by a dominating trailing hand and side right hand for right hand golfers ,, it is our dominate hand and it moves the clubhead faster then the left side and hand is moving causing the clubhead to cast ,, early relase, teach the left hand to lead the swing until hitting area will rid you of the chicken wing and help u maintain spine angle, and lee is by far one of the best ballstrikers ever,

Lee loses his spineangle in the backswing, consistantly recovering it clearing hips, though leaving his shoulders overly steep thru impact. Ideally he needs to flatten his back, getting his C poture straightened out, this'll give him the freedom of keeping his angles throughout his swing, I wouldn't recommend a swing like his for anyone except for him, Lee.. if it ain't broken don't fix it!

I haven't seen his grip, could possibly help the chicken wing. Though correcting his spineangle thru impact would keep both his arms connected and on plane through impact/followthru. If your reading this Lee, don't touch a thing, just keep winning...

i think this is as goods as lee as ever swung the golf club, notice there is no lifting in his swing, the right arm is working across the chest not up,swinging on plane. the down swing is still what it was!! lol. Form comes and goes, but class is permanent!!!
