Man, I hate Drop C tuning, it's so....low. But, nice cover dude. I gotta find a way around this Drop C tuning and learn how to play some Killswitch Engage songs.

cmon bro haha im not the biggest drop c fan either but drop c is a really melodic tuning and having a low tuning makes it heavy and there is no way around the tuning unless u tuned it lower haha then it would be harder to move across the frett board playing the eqivilent of open Cs to higher fretts

well drop C is still considered low to the standard tuning and A is good for death metal and and all shit but is a little low for my taste that tuning is too clanky unless u get monster strings

Yeah I'm getting free bass lessons at my school now. At home, all I got is my crappy acoustic guitar though so I'm gonna try and get a real bass as soon as I can

kool bro but the bassics of bass are easy to learn so it will come to you very fast but it takes time to develop technique

I've got the main technique down, so I'm trying to learn how to recognize all the notes, and to be able to read music without the tabs. Going pretty good so far :D

Do what feels comfortable at first mate. I played with picks now I play with fingers. Bit of advice, when you've been playing for a while, a good way to develop your fingers is to kind of "air pick" all the time. I do it when I walk or whatever. Just all the time. Just exercise your hands.

How've you got your bass tuned for this cover? I've got mine in drop C, I think, for playing Trivium covers, but it seems to sound fine when I try to follow what you're doing there.

yeah this song is in dropped C bro but y do u have ur bass in dropped C for trivium? trivium plays in standard and dropped D bro theyy dont have a single song i can recall thats in dropped C

Some tabs I looked up for "Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr" said it was in drop C, so that's how I tuned it. So I just never retuned it for the other Trivium songs I tried really.
