you guy's should really look up pictures of swamp gas. It is just like any other gas its invisible until you light it. Just like propane. I mean seriously you want to call it a balloon sure, but the whole swamp gas is retarded.
@813az1 I had the same doubt about those ligth lightning in mid air. Unfortunately I cannot understand how far the camera was and was not there as a witness. What I can sincerely say is that I believe a lot of strange and umbelieveble things are happening, that I do believe in UFOs (extradimensional lifeform or whatever you think they are) and I'm personally witness of couple of episodes in the last weeks (Not alone). Films4You Sir, i am only the uploader, so i could not tell you for certain what they were as i was not there. However, i have personally analysed this footage, and even when this footage is filtered, you can see these so called `flares` being dropped, yet there`s no sign of the plane/ helicopter dropping them. They also light up at different points in the video footage. I don`t know what they are, but chinese lanterns don`t just drop from the sky and ignite. As i`ve said, i don`t know sir..

flares would also be blow somewhat, this is one reason they are dropped from 'planes, etc, to check any wind drift before parachuting out, so I doubt if its flares.

@gabrieleprinzi These must have been the biggest lanterns ever because these were huge, lanterns are very small these were seen over the sea and lanterns cant light up in mid air these were going against the wind it was very windy that night and we filmed them all over .When we filmed one out to sea it hovered over a ship then went out then came back on and another one appeared then disappeared.these were very very big plus a white tube appeared that night we got the camera out to but missed it

My boyfriend and I had seen similar lights off the Tybee Island, GA coast line on April 22nd, 2010. We have been looking for videos to see if anyone caught it , because our camera wouldn't pick it up. We were talking about God, the supernatural and the possibility of other life forms past our universe and how small our world was and these lights began to dance in the distance. It started with 1 then it was 8 of them, dancing about. as one went off the other came on, just like here.

I live 15 miles from the main gate @ Ft. Leonard Wood military base. They have war games there all the time, and they fire off flares. These flares light up everything for 20 miles like it's daylight. They never last more then 10 seconds. They use them to see where to go next, not to show enemy targets where you are, thats why they only last a short time. Unlike the lights in this vid. These are not flares.

I watched a show on lights like this. Their suppose to be military flares. You notice how they flicker like a candle and eventually fade out. I thinks thats what they are.

Well done on capturing this excellent footage. The north east UK has been experiencing a ufo flap for at least the last 3 years. I've been photographing them pretty regularly over my house in middlesbrough since sept 2007 and now have hundreds of good quality images. I recently posted a video slideshow of some of these images if you're interested.

The camera is also pointing in the right direction, and the distance looks right. I have seen them released before, and they aren't actually released over public. When these excersises take place on an area 90 square miles, red flags are put up. :)

@ged8802 The thing I found curious was that it seemed there were hardly any reports of this sighting. I would have thought hundreds of people would have seen this on a Saturday night after the pubs shut and this would had at least been reported in the local papers.

I downloaded the clip and played it at a faster speed, Apart from blinking on and off they all roughly flow from top left to bottom right. Appearing top left, disappearing bottom right. If there was a hill there you would think they were cars travelling over a hill but these guys must be locals and know if there is a hill or not. Could be lanterns descending caught in an air current, who knows.
@esculent1. As far as i`m aware there are no hills. What i`ve asked Paul who filmed it to do is go back to the spot when it`s light, and get video/photos, etc and maybe somehow either show that footage, or maybe use something like google to show people the view as they can see it. The lad who filmed it ( Paul franciosi, of the Franciosi paranormal society ) would just like conclusive proof of what is on the video. That prompted him to get out the car and look for it. What followed is the footage you see over cleadon village. He`s never admitted it because he has no footage of it, and that is as simple as that.

im trying to find something symbolic in this ...if overlooking Gateshead where would the angel of the north statue be located in relation to them orbs.. the more i watch this more fascinating it becomes . ther seems to be 2 areas the orbs 1st appear an i cant work out how they lite up at same height to form downward pattern. Anyway id like the world to know Gateshead has an Angel of the North statue at this sighting area, might mean something to some 1

I`ve asked Paul Franciosi, ( my mate who filmed it ) that next time he goes to the spot where he filmed it, to go when it`s light so you can see the difference to when it`s dark. i've seen these lights in the west of england last week and the week before. i saw one of the lights at about 7 in the evening so it was still light, the light faded and there was a huge solid black ball darting through the sky.

@ Daniel, there is no mountain. I am from this area and know it fairly well. Yes it could be a hillside, another thing my brother pointed out... traffic moving etc.. but this is no way would you have this much traffic on a road in this area at 2 am..... anyway...
ve studied this a few times an something catches my eye at 7:40 point. Do you notice top left of screen a light flickers briefly then approx 0.3 sec later illuminates fully but much lower in sky to the flicker, its not due to camera shake as i use another orb (flare) to measure it by, what im observing is the distance travelled between flicker an full flare up means ther 2 objects or it travelled very fast between 7:40 and 7:40.3

I asked paul if he was certain as to which direction he was facing from cleadon. if it was west. he`d be facing gateshead. If it was east, he`d be looking out over the sea. Anyway, if have a look at `part 2 ufo`s north east july 17/18th 2010 paul franciosi` he`s actually speaking on camera whilst all this is happening. Hope this is of help. @YoGStylie. It was filmed from cleadon mill whilst doing a ghosthunt and it is obviously a good vantage point. Have a look at ufo`s north east part 2 franciosi which has just been uploaded by a friend of his. You see him on camera explaining, but i can`t remember if it is very specific.

@innerspace428. Part 2 ufo`s` north east july 17/18th paul franciosi is a missing segment which has been uploaded. Not sure if this will help. You see paul actually explaining to the camera whilst things are happening. It`s a different uploader as i was having difficulty.
I kind of doubt that 16 or so people spread out of the city to shoot flares (that don't streak into the sky for some reason) that cost tons of money each. At least 90-130 "flares" would have been let off.

It was my brother, cousin and close friend who shot this footage, and i garauntee the footage is not fake, weather or not the footage is U.F.OS, alien or earthly or even flares is up for debate. But one thing is that the footage is not faked. I have my own opinion on the subject which i believe they are flares and not aliens. But that is my opinion, but i say again that this footage is 100% real and is not edited in any way shape or form.

My boyfriend and I had seen similar lights off the Tybee Island, GA coast line on April 22nd, 2010. We have been looking for videos to see if anyone caught it , because our camera wouldn't pick it up. We were talking about God, the supernatural and the possibility of other life forms past our universe and how small our world was and these lights began to dance in the distance. It started with 1 then it was 8 of them, dancing about. as one went off the other came on, just like here.

stockton,billingham,graetham,middlesbrough and yarm are just a few of the places ive seen em,i was going home past eaglescliffe station one night and two coppers were out there car observeing them (3 flying in formation) my only critisim is that i have yet to see any change direction always in a straight line,but seen them disapear and reapear many times traveling at incredable speeds,i have seen them rise from cleveland hills and at the same moment rise from the boro many miles away

I live 15 miles from the main gate @ Ft. Leonard Wood military base. They have war games there all the time, and they fire off flares. These flares light up everything for 20 miles like it's daylight. They never last more then 10 seconds. They use them to see where to go next, not to show enemy targets where you are, thats why they only last a short time. Unlike the lights in this vid. These are not flares.

Well done on capturing this excellent footage. The north east UK has been experiencing a ufo flap for at least the last 3 years. I've been photographing them pretty regularly over my house in middlesbrough since sept 2007 and now have hundreds of good quality images. I recently posted a video slideshow of some of these images if you're interested.

@ged8802 I phoned otturburn ranges and they confirmed flares were fired that night, around that time, someone else needs to phone to back me up. you can get some info that excersises were taking place that night // morning from the trust website. The camera is also pointing in the right direction, and the distance looks right. I have seen them released before, and they aren't actually released over public. When these excersises take place on an area 90 square miles, red flags are put up. :)

I downloaded the clip and played it at a faster speed, Apart from blinking on and off they all roughly flow from top left to bottom right. Appearing top left, disappearing bottom right. If there was a hill there you would think they were cars travelling over a hill but these guys must be locals and know if there is a hill or not. Could be lanterns descending caught in an air current, who knows.

What i`ve asked Paul who filmed it to do is go back to the spot when it`s light, and get video/photos, etc and maybe somehow either show that footage, or maybe use something like google to show people the view as they can see it. That prompted him to get out the car and look for it. What followed is the footage you see over cleadon village. He`s never admitted it because he has no footage of it, and that is as simple as that.

im trying to find something symbolic in this ...if overlooking Gateshead where would the angel of the north statue be located in relation to them orbs.. the more i watch this more fascinating it becomes . ther seems to be 2 areas the orbs 1st appear an i cant work out how they lite up at same height to form downward pattern. ve studied this a few times an something catches my eye at 7:40 point. Do you notice top left of screen a light flickers briefly then approx 0.3 sec later illuminates fully but much lower in sky to the flicker, its not due to camera shake as i use another orb (flare) to measure it by, what im observing is the distance travelled between flicker an full flare up means ther 2 objects or it travelled very fast between 7:40 and 7:40.3

I asked paul if he was certain as to which direction he was facing from cleadon. if it was west. he`d be facing gateshead. If it was east, he`d be looking out over the sea. Anyway, if have a look at `part 2 ufo`s north east july 17/18th 2010 paul franciosi` he`s actually speaking on camera whilst all this is happening. Hope this is of help. i'm sick to death of hearing about chinese lanterns to explain this global phenomena and they are definitely not flares, if they were chinese lanterns you would see them floating up from the ground and they are not that bright once in the sky and how come they disappear and reappear in the sky lanterns don't do that or flares. where about's did you shoot this footage, i'm from gateshead myself and i'm seeing oragne orb's in the sky on a regular basis. the most i've seen are 2 at once.

It was my brother, cousin and close friend who shot this footage, and i garauntee the footage is not fake, weather or not the footage is U.F.OS, alien or earthly or even flares is up for debate. But one thing is that the footage is not faked. I have my own opinion on the subject which i believe they are flares and not aliens. But that is my opinion, but i say again that this footage is 100% real and is not edited in any way shape or form.

@AmethystDreaming. No. It was my friend that was there. I`m just the uploader. My friend was using my pc yesterday. I think he may have replied to your comment. I`m just trying to upload the first 16 mins of footage he recorded. You tube keeps telling me that my upload has failed so i`m` going to try a different editing suite. I`ll try and get it done today. I`m new at this and finding it awkward. Anyway, i`ll let you know when i`ve` got it done. Thanks.

@AmethystDreaming. Still having trouble with the upload. There`s about 20 mins previous footage which will be put on you tube by sunday from someone who knows what they are doing. Failing that, i`ll send you the copy of the disk myself.

I wish they'd have said what color those lights were and which way the wind was blowing....

@ged8802 Oh yes, the wind was blowing, all right--but the direction, if different than the flight path of the objects, would be incredibly important to have documented...

good video,doesnt look like lanterns to me,besides it sounds very windy,yet these objects remain in their own craft,..i think its bloody marvelous! i have films,do look please.. :)
