  • Soundgarden is just too amazing. They write amazingly great music to listen to and INSANELY hard to play on ALL instruments and yet play them live perfectly. Not to mention their great stage presence and energy. All four members are amazing musicians.

  • good I was teenager during those years........good I was in love of their music.......thanks God I didn't stop myself to love them!!!

  • Nothing to say...just want to listen.

  • Kim Thayil=God

  • numero uno of all time!!!still get goosebumps!!!

  • black sabbath + led zepplin = soundgarden

  • such a great band.... i hate that pearl jam is regarded as the band with the most sustainability from the grunge area.....

  • Best Soundgarden vid ever. God, Cornell is a god. :)

  • Play this song after listening to Wheels of Confusion by Black Sabbath.

  • 2:55 bouncer throws a guy off stage. lol :D

  • F**K. Soundgarden never seems to dissapoint whether they play heavy shit to the mellow sound they did later in their career.

  • I love this song! I just love it... Soundgarden used to rock so hard!

  • I swear this show was at the Fillmore in Detroit, I can remember I left the show with 1 shoe and no shorts, must of been all that jumping around.Soundgarden does that to you. \m/

  • kim is so bad ass at 1:10

  • soundgarden soundgarden soundgarden soundgarden soundgarden soundgarden

soundgarden soundgarden soundgarden soundgarden soundgarden soundgarden !!!!

  • one of the hardest rocking bands ever

  • Great song, great band, can't wait to hear some new material, even if it takes a couple of years!

  • As for me they are in my top 1...for sure(:-) love this powerful and driving energy they display thanks to the heaviest riffs you could imagine...they beat all the fucking "double-bass-drum-metal-bands" for this heaviness...

  • What kind of boots is Chris wearing? I know they're combat boots, but what type?

  • Is it "to the sky?" Clearly a reference to more and more UFO sightings, and clearly a link between the "grey" alien abduction agenda and the current U.S. government lockdown on all things extraterrestrial being discovered. Hmmmm.....Fascinating!!!!

  • @Dman700p Haha, no it's not, you loon.

  • @Dman700p i think thats a great analogy!!! i always figured he was talking about hallucinations in the sky and he couldn't get away or something, but being a huge UFO fan myself this might be it lol, but tripping out and then being abducted by the greys would be some scary shit =) !!!!!!!!!

  • SOUNDGARDEN FTW

  • what a guitar sound!!

  • sick mustache

  • Doesn't get anymore MANTASTIC than this. Monstrous.

  • The movie this is from (HYPE) is a good documentary about the "Seattle Sound" surge reported by the insiders that were part of the scene at the time. If you ever wondered how the "Seattle Thing" happened, it's worth a look.

  • @beelzabubba no it isn't. Hype starts with Chris Cornell singing, and is from the 1996 tour. This is from the 1992 tour with Pearl Jam, and is from a live concert video, not a documentary. Go back and watch Hype, its totally different. I had both copies.

  • @djcub00 ==> Right you are........ must have had too many Sam Adams that night......

  • IS IT TO THE SKyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!..........whoa

  • I want to break things .. I can not describe the energy I feel when I look to this vid. This is THE SHIT !!!!!!!!!!! THE POWER OF THE FUCKING CRAZY CHRIS CORNELL BLOWS UP MY MIND !!!

  • @NicholasJohn10 - YES.... I JUST WANT TO BREAK THINGS. i want to go wild and f--k the world.

  • Grunge Revival.. It would be cool if most bands like now were like them...

  • @airn2p nope..then the genre would be killed like death metal..the reason why they where fuckin awsome was because how diverse and creative they where..some true good artists here!!

  • this is the cellular powerhouse of the grunge organism - just epic

  • this fucking rules

  • SOUNDGARDEN 2010! Lollapallooza! Hope they do this song, love it!!!!!

  • awsome video

  • Here is a Pig....

Soundgarden OWNS! Saw them in Seattle in 97 & 99 truly epic! Used to hear them practice in the rehearsal studio by my house.

  • If a performance like this will ever happen again, now that SG is back... the world is saved.

  • fuck! this song is orgasmic! fucking shit!

  • The opening riff of this song fucking DESTROYS.

How do you come up with a riff like that!?!

Sounds like someone took the time to put manufacturing machinery in tune and just started a killing factory.

  • yeah man!

    soundgarden es la ostia!

  • haha yea man!!

  • REFORMING 2010- EPIC!

  • DAMN RIGHT IT'S EPIC!!!!!!

  • I saw them in SF in 93 great tour :-)) Thanks

  • grunge in the purest form...good to have them back...

  • to the skkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkyyyyyyyyyyy..... man can he wail...all I want is to see soundgarden then I can die

  • n im on my wayyy!!!!!

  • Wicked and powerfully dark song. So glad I saw these guys twice when all this was going off magical.

  • 2:21 crazy man thought there was a pool.

Soundgardens best songs where the others on the CD

  • hey !! there is a song of tony iommi called "i'll be fine" from his album "eight star" with glen huges , that sounds exactly like this one, anyone knows something about this??

  • I just hear it and you're right it's a rip off of this song. A very cinic one actually. That song it's from 1996 and Searching it's from 1991.

  • @steech007 i've just heard it too..it's maybe an influence for the band too or casualty, but the song really goes in the same direction lol

  • @Pravindaswani74 Which song? I've always thought it sounded similar to the bulk of Wheels of Confusion by Sabbath

  • @Eifler121 'Fine' from Iommy,I never heard about it until someone mentioned here, but is not a copy,SG classic is genuine,is think it just goes the same way as 'Searching....' the other guy says it's a rip off,i think it's not, tell me ur opinion...

  • @Pravindaswani74 I think there is a very small similarity, I don't think Fine rips off this song by any means. I doubt Iommi is incredibly familiar with Soundgarden anyway.

  • @Eifler121 true, but many musicians are given songs, demos, etc by their manager, etc to listen to..who knows?...anyway SG or Sabbath rules

  • The Big Four are back.......Welcome to 2010 !!!!

  • Yes, yes, YES.

  • @Pravindaswani74

    Nirvana is back?

  • @XFry333X Nope!!..but AIC,Pearl Jam and SG yesss!!..welcome to the 2010 dude!!

  • @Pravindaswani74

    Grunge Rock REVIVAL!

  • @Pravindaswani74 I don't think you know this, but Kurt Cobain died.... I wish Nirvana wasn't part of the big 4

  • @Eifler121 when i said the big four in that comment i forgot they used to name that to SG,AIC,PJ and Nirvana..i refered the big 4 as for Chris,Kim,Ben and Matt.......Kurt Cobain rules!!

  • @Pravindaswani74 Nirvana = amateur

Musically, the were never even close to the other 3. Nirvana was just drugged-out punk rock that somehow became popular.

  • @BEATYOAZ well...i have to disagree here as i think Nirvana where and are as good as any classic band such as Joy Division or The Clash...though i can say i didn't like them in the beginning..maybe cause i was more into Soundgarden,Tool, etc in those days..i was in shocked when i heard the news on tv,i thought i wouldn't surprised me if it where Chris Cornell or Vedder...but Kurt Cobain?..he seemed like enjoying all the succes

  • @Pravindaswani74

Who do you consider the "Big 4"?

  • @mokapey Cornell,Thayil,Shepherd and Cameron..i never knew that in the 90's there where another 'Big Four'..but that's maybe because i'm from Spain and didn't notice they gave out that nickname to four of the best bands of the grunge movement.I can't choose four from that stage in my life,as i loved mostly all the bands..Soundgarden,Pearl Jam,AIC,Screaming Trees,Sunny Day Real Estate, etc, etc.

  • @Pravindaswani74 hey man soundgarden stone temple pilots korn deftones haha

  • @tanvo93 deftones rules..but Korn and STP? hmmm, they where awesome in their first few releases but after that they went lame in my opinion..glad theyre back again anyway!

  • @Pravindaswani74 i could see that but im not the biggest stp fan but korn was hella sick went weird but theyre last album that just came out was pretty awsome

  • @tanvo93 yes..Korn III,didn't even knew they got an album out..i'll check it out,ty

  • @Pravindaswani74 they have some songs on there that can really stick out..and the bonus tracks are pretty swell as well

  • @Pravindaswani74 until Kurt rises from the dead the big 4 will never be back my friend

  • @Chunibrow To me Nirvana will always be alive :)

  • @Chunibrow Suck my dick...

  • @Chunibrow Nirvana were a pop band

  • @shaung so was every "grunge" band who became big.

  • @shaung listen to in utero. most of it isnt.

  • @shaung Bleach and In Utero aren't pop albums and Nevermind is truly great. I don't mind if they had a worldwide success, Nirvana were a good and genuine band. Like Soundgarden. And this is the reason why I love both bands.

  • @shaung Pop is short for popular. Some bands get popular because they are actually good.
