@chaosmetal17 Well Ganondorf is the king of evil, Bowser is appearently immune to lava, high fall's etc. and as long as the space pirate's are around they'll keep Ridley revived and well. mechanical or no. I like them though so idk what to say lol

I applaud you for beating the boss in this game. Its not easy to fight Ridley and beat him, especially for a run that requires beating the game with only 16% of items collected. One thing to correct you though, and that is this Ridley and the Meta(l) Ridley in Prime 1&3 are not the same: In fact, this one's more of a Mecha Ridley.

@TAFHUC Well at least you can download Super Metroid off the virtual console. Metroid 2 however was only released once on the original gameboy way back in 1992. And I believe its the Metroid that most people haven't played. So Metroid 2 is definitely in higher need of a remake than Super Metroid.

lol? what I meant was that in almost every metroid game first level, you start off with things like grapple hook, charge shot, missles (u know, usual power ups from the previous games/missions). and then at some point in that level, Samus's suit is "critically damaged," and loses all its abilities except power shot. Then, u magically find those power-ups later on in whatever world the game takes place. Just to list a few, this has happened in all prime games, super, zero, and fusion metriod lol

In Super and Zero Mission, she started with absolutely nothing to lose. That and I think Metroid II. But other games, she had power-ups that she lost and recovered again later along with new power-ups.

Technically she doesn't retain most of her power-ups from metroid prime 2, but in Metroid Prime 3 she doesn't end up "losing" any like the morph-ball. Also it could be stated that her suit was fairly depleted after fighting Dark Samus.

Well, I've never played MP3, but the other 2 I know you lose most of your power-ups except for MP2, which you retain basic Varia and Morph Ball for the most part.
