  • Cool music. Great video.

  • the Royal Air Force used this music for a recruitment film back in the late 70's. it was about the deployment of a Buccaneer Sqn to Gibralter

  • raaf or raf i'm in the raaf

  • does alot of the fuel get wasted then how does the thing actually work i mean you have turbulence and all

  • The probe has a sliding piece that moves back to reveal the holes when it makes contact with the female section inside the basket. Ground crews use a dummy recepticle to check the slide moves at the correct spring pressure. This ensures that it's a tight seal.

  • @swissarmour Sometimes fuel does get waisted. Looks like in the video it didn't quite seal properly. They usually lose a bit when they disconnect too. It happens too if they develope mechanical problems after they refuel. Then they have to dump fuel to get down to a certain weight before they can land. They say it evaporates before it gets to the ground but I have trouble believing that. Who knows....

  • good mix

  • it's not a mix... it's a song... To The Unknown Man - Vangelis
