  • my pops an old school italian that learned from my grandmother back in the old country and they cooked the chicken and all the francese ingredients all together and not separate

  • Thumbs up for the science facts at the end. *

  • I made this today, substituting more chicken broth for the wine. I'm not a big fan of meat only tasting good based on the stuff you put on it after it's cooked, and this seemed to be the case. I tried the chicken without the sauce and it was pretty bland, it was just egg and chicken flavor. I wish the directions would say how much salt and pepper, because maybe that's were the flavor was lacking. The sauce was actually pretty good, thickened with the floured butter.

  • the subsitute for the wine would be to make something else geez ppl are acting like they r going to get drunk lol

  • @princemohsin grape juice duh!

  • @princemohsin lemon juice will do.

  • people! the alcohol in the wine evaporates. it's just for te flavour. te alcohol just kind of goes away. so don't worry if you're not of legal age :)

  • @princemohsin there really isn't an alternitive. If you're underage ask an adult to buy some cooking wine. The alcohol doesn't affect you when it has been cooked

  • Dildo

  • @greenorange75 I would correct the spelling errors first!

  • Water, chicken broth, vegetable broth, white grape juice, ginger ale, white grape juice are all wine substitutes.

  • That looked delicious! :D

  • @princemohsin Why not? You are not affected by alcohol when it is in food... the alcohol is physically burned away when the food is cooked, so you cannot get drunk or have alcohol related health effects from eating food with wine in it.

If you dont use alcoholic products in food, do you eat bread? Yeast produces alcohol as it rises the bread, but the yeast is killed and the alcohol is burned as the bread cooks.

  • @princemohsin Uhm, protip, the alcohol usually evaporates.

  • @princemohsin if you pre heat the alcoholic drink before using it,

    the alcohol devappers

  • @bumflufasshole not entirely. depending on cooking time as much as 25 percent of the total alcohol can remain, however the amount left is not noticeable.

  • whats that thing she adds after she puts the wine and lemon juice??

  • Bonito

  • hungry now..

  • disgusting

  • do u hav to add wine?

  • but i think by the time you finsih cooking the wine all the alchohol would have been evaporated so kids can eat it but idk about this dish..

  • you can do that also without the flower, than its less fat and has better taste but do its with a different coating

  • Yummy!!

  • wow, imma start making this. so simple

  • @princemohsin why not? it gives it a good flavour. The alcohol evaporates when you cook it.

  • what is this woman doing out of the kitchen

  • how does that make any sense? yes it would be funny but she actually was in the kitchen what with the whole cooking thing going on.

  • when you cook with wine the alcohol evaporates.

  • @t7g6s8 i know that .

  • How cast u really should thinking buying a new pan instead the one at 00.54 ....

  • Wine is Wine ...

you can use Juice , water ? or nothing ...

  • How cast u really should thinking buying a new pan instead the one at 00.54 ... .

  • @m0neez That's a cast iron pan. It wall last generations. I got one that was my Great-grandfather's.

Yes, the pan @ 00:54 could probably use a good scouring. Then just re-season it properly and it'll be as good as new and nonstick. No need to spend money on a new one.

Most serious cooks will have at least one cast iron pan in their kitchen. -Remember never use soap on cast iron just hot water, otherwise you'll have to re-season every time you wash it!

  • cooking wine i guess than.

if not, just don't use the wine period.

  • omnomnom

  • 0:28 I heard her say one cup of chicken stoth

  • @princemohsin yeah same but im only 14 years old and i want to make this for me my mom/dad/sister

  • @b1oodh3ll I'm sure your parents will let you use wine in a meal :P

Mine even used to let me drink with food when I was your age :)

  • @Henners1991 well mine let me but i dont want to drink enything with alcohol in it x) but i guess it is ok when i use it in food...

  • Why would you want to replace the "vine"? Chicken and white wine were made for each other.

  • not everyone is jewish like you

  • @AlkaVirus lol wut? alcohol > any religion

  • #1 some people have physical problem with wine ...

#2 kid are not allowed to drink alcool

    Thats two reason

  • @hitachi088 when you cook using wine, the alcohol content evaporates with heat and only the flavor is left
