You know what? Some people are born experts. I taught myself to fly with the help of Airborne mags. Many crashes and on to better, more challenging aircraft. As I now say to newbees... If you take the thing home intact, you've had a good day! Well Done. I enjoyed the ride.

lovely model, great sound, more manageable than a turbine in the noise department, Ive recently started going up to 3D and looking to buy my first scale. would prefer to see it being flown to scale rather than lots of sudden movements. ive been flying for a while but someone elses heli. cool thanks for the vid.

Agree. We had several takes on the video as we went too far away the camera would not focus so was a bit tricky.

Wow sorry to hear its been stolen..there was one for sale almost identical on E bay UK...same fuselage...I noticed it last week. there are a few good quality pics of it on there hope its not yours? Hope you replace it soon..was you insured? I'll try n find the ebay one and add a link for you to take a look?

no, it runs on nitromethane. Its a .90 size nitro engine.

Its electric and runs on two 5s lipo packs run in series. That is 37volts and draws roughly 80amps. Flight time is 8 min.

Just the further it goes the harder to fly because you can't see what is happening.

Where is the Adelaide RC Helicopter club? I'm looking to move down but I cannot find any club info?

A hobby shop in adelaide did most of the work.

All up weight is just over 7.1kg.

Motor mount was simple and weight is very similar.

No mess to clean after any flight.

Great fun.

Nice chopper and great job on the conversion. Was it difficult to mount the motor ? What is the all up weight difference between the electric and the methanol motor.
