  • Janine Turner (in the middle to later seasons of NE) was just fucking gorgeous. I mean really ball-breakingly beautiful with an ass to die for.

But alas nowadays, she looks like a walking corpse.

    >:-l

  • What is it with all the residents of Cicily? Is there something in the water? Why do they all have hallucinations?

  • @rammfantasy Magical realism.

  • Do you have a clip of Ed and the Green Man season 5:8?

  • In my mind, when joel leaves, the show ended. it just lost so much of it's charm--though, the final scenes of the last episode to "Our Town" was brilliant.

  • Right wing, left wing...all loons in one form or another. Man Rob Morrow is hot in this episode!

  • great show.. it's hard to find streaming episodes (not on mega vid) ..ed rules.

  • that made perfect sence to me

  • Fleischman goes cuckoo ;D

  • Thank goodness I had heards she was a left wing loon. Glad to hear she is "allright".......

  • I was kinda shocked to find out Janine Turner (Maggie) is in fact a right-wing loon. She was on stage with Ted Nugent the other day.

  • I know, that really sucks. I was surprised she is so stupid in real life as well.

  • Being a left wing loon is better?

  • No. But she's not a left wing, she's a right wing loon. She wasn't on stage with the Dixie Chicks, she was on stage with Ted Nugent. I was just pointing out that Janine Turner in real life believes in almost nothing that Maggie O'Connel would have believed in.

  • That's pretty sad. Though given the amount of insane plastic surgery she's had since this show (she was beautiful in NE, now she's fucking plastic and ugly), I'm not surprised.

  • A masterly little programme

  • hi , I do not know much about this series , but remember hearing one song that was fantastic, it was Inuit music , and I think the charachter in the show had gone to visit the city for some reason , would appreciate it if anyone can help say what it may be

  • It was a really cool show. It was like Twin Peaks meets Friends.

  • I think you are referring to when Marilyn went to Seattle by herself and Joel went looking for her. I don't know the artist but armed w/ that info you may be able to find out.

  • Ojibway Square Dance from Georgia Wettlin-Larsen

  • Thank you!

I have every season except for 6!

    <3

  • lol i love it!

  • The new DVD full set doesn't have the original soundtrack. Wait for the real thing or watch old tapes. Without the original music to each episode, some of the spirit is lost and not worth the price.

  • Do you mean just the new set of the entire series? What if you buy each individual season DVDs? Thanks!

  • That's horrible!

The music was its own character in this show.

    Damn that makes me pissed.

  • loved the show,loved maggie

  • This scene makes me laugh every time. I don't know why...there's just something about Joel's little scream right before he gets hit...it makes me laugh hysterically. Thanks for posting this.

  • Reminds me a bit of Help!, actually.

  • i wish it didn't cost so much to get this dvd set.

  • i miss northern exposure! nothing on tv these days even comes close to matching this show's sparkling brilliance/wit/charm... :(

  • i always love this girl

  • Weird, i remember "just sit" scene, but not this one. It's cool though, quite suprising :) Any chance someone can upload parts with Fleishman and Maggie in the episode "Ill Wind"? More or less the only episode where they finally get closer if im not wrong. It was awhile since i watched this. The show itself was great, but love/hate relationships between the two of them was very interesting in a peculiar way.

  • I LOVED this scene. Thank you for posting it. :)

  • Sorry. Don't have it.

  • Thanks for sharing this & the others. Could you make a clip of the scene Joel leaves in "The Quest"? My favorite episode & great scene too.

  • I wonder exactly when Dr. F left Alaska and reappeared in NYC? He's talking to Maggie, but if we are all on one mushroom, he could talk to her without even physically being there. And who was channeling those WWII bombers???

  • "but if we are all on one mushroom, he could talk to her without even physically being there."

Is that so? Well then, I guess you must be an expert. *rolls eyes*

  • the show always managed to stay somewhat underground i reckon. even while staying on for what? seven years. still my favorite. thing is-unless you have the shows on dvd, then they're on tape, which is hard to upload. maybe

  • @qwertypus Well, underground... I'm from Finland and it was aired here.

  • Yeah, it's odd isn't it. All I can think of is that NE attracts pre-interactive taciturn types.

  • Real freaking question is how have 411 stinking people come by any northerns episode, let alone Dr. F's famous mushroom speech, and not left a comment. Astounding. I supposed the 420th person would be appropriate, maybe that's what you're all waiting for. I have only now just realized there is finally a comment on this clip. It's me. Okay though, we seriously need more people over here...jeebers
