Millions? You're a fucking moron. His trial was over the death of less than a thousand people (surely far less than the civilian deaths we've caused as a result of our invasion), from the 80's, from a village that sent warriors to assasinate him. THAT's what he was on trial for.

he had to be killed. if he was put in prison it wouldnt take long for his followers to find where he is. and how hard do u think it wud be for a bunch of people to drive a truck into the side of the prison or blow it up to get him out. he'd be free in no time.
