Okay - that "quote" was actually the Los Angeles Times headline accompanying an article on the Pontiff, from 1984.
He had made statements suggesting that Catholics should not necessarily seek forgiveness direct from God, and need to go to confession more, but the import of the substantial claim is not exaggerated by the quote.

Some may have only 1% of the divine truth some 50% up to the Catholic Church, which has the full divinity and truth as revealed by God. The Pope did not honor those religions as equal to the Catholic religion, he honored them for seeking the one true God to the extent that they do so.

@johnthreesixteen316 =Regarding John 3:16 believing is not enough...read James 2:14-26 stated that faith without action is dead like a body without a spirit is dead. Argument is not a faith but causes division. God is Unity and Satan is Division...that's why your purpose of seeking arguments creates division.

THIS IS HIS TESTIMONY.IN THE JUDGMENT SEAT, HE WAS NOT ABLE TO SEE JESUS, BUT THERE WERE MUCH SAID WITH REGARDS TO HIS LIFE. THE ONLY THING HE DID, UPON HEARING PECULIAR INSTANCES, HE JUST INTERNALLY ACCEPTED EVERYTHING. ALL TRUE AND NO REBUTTAL.

@333rcq I'm not here to argue. It's sounds to me like you are. I just stated a point that the apparitions are not Mary. The apparitions deny Christ's complete work on the cross. No need to argue.
