bradster..I have 2 cats..one with diabetes. He's 10 years old and if it was the right thing to put him down to ease his pain I would do it with great trepidation. I don't worry about cost because if it's to prolong his life for a month or 2? Well,it's a tough decision to make.
They become part of the family and they are our friends.

@Annelizeification his rapid weight loss was more apparrent after i had him shaved for the first i could see he was so sick,they never told me at the vet office they wanted to run like 750.00 dollars worth of tests,i always took great care of these pets i spent thousands over the course of thier lives,they vet did tell me it could be 2 things diabetas or thyroid problem.but farfy was at 3 and a half pounds and had lost too much muscle to recover,in retro i will always watch my pets weight,...
