Well, it now has 62hp on stock bore stock stroke, that is on one of the lowest reading dyno I know of, If it was at trinity it would pull 70hp easy! This is one of the best Single exhausts for the 700, the sparks big core single is right with it, and the sparks krackinator is the ony single that is capable of more power than this one but, its ungodly loud. Dont doubt me I know what im talking about

Nice, but im also saying power to wieght it might even out or be close, the ds is at 348lbs dry the raptor 700 is 396... that almost 50 lbs it makes a difference.

Nice raptor 700 and exhaust, i got a ltr450 and raptor 250, im not hating on the raptor or ne thing but the ds450x would probly rip up the 700 and probly most of the other atv's in the 450 class including my ltr450 depending on the extra parts the ds has.

Ya I hear the Ds450s are quick... IMO the raptor dollar for dollar are the quickest out there. Most people have absolutly no Idea what the raptor as capable of... like 75hp with stock bore, high comp.,port and polish,cam,+3throttle body,dual exhuast,ignition,PCIII,and a good intake. Do that on a 450 and you'de be lucky to get 65hp

depends what is done to each. 450s have a limit to their power. big bored quads limit is far beyond. people are getting 80-90 horse outta of naturally aspirated big bores while most heavy modded 450s only make 60. but stock for stock the ds would most likely win on a track depending on the rider

Dude anybody that hates on the raptor is just jealous. Read any magazine big-bore shoot-out and you'll see the raptor wins them all. Its Fast as hell comfortable and has great suspension. I LOVE mine.

I am 6'1 270lbs. and I sat on them all. Most of the 450s felt small especially the Kawi. The YFZ felt pretty good but the raptor was definatly made for us bigger fellas. If you are considering buying a quad DON'T hesitate to buy the Raptor. You can probably get a new '07 or '08 for cheap right now. I picked up my '08 for $6600 out the door. You can get a better deal on one now. Don't bother getting an '09 unless you like the color or the digital dash, cause thats all that they changed.

Yeh you right, alot of the 450s felt cramped to me too. Its probally gone be like 2010 before I get a new quad though. Im predicting a YAMAHA Raptor 550. Big bore sport quad.
