@JetRaven100 Although this a plausible theory but it has a few flaws,BB has no parents he is from whammy's house and was the first successor of L therefore the orphanage would have kept any information on BB extremely classified (Light wouldn't be able to find out) and he wouldn't have to take a mugshot if he went to an institute for the criminally insane and even if he did BB'real name was never mentioned, and Ryuk refused to give out any names because he wasn't on either side.

L, the detective from the manga series Death Note has a twin brother. His twin brothers name is Beyond Birthday (B or BB for short). He doesn't show up at all in the manga or anime. Instead he and L are basically the main characters in Another Note, a book written after Death Note ended. It's about BB killing people and L trying to catch him basically. If I didn't explain it right this time, Google 'Another Note'.

@datcurl Ya know, that kinda would make sense, although it is HIGHLY unlikely. What I think REALLY happen is that...L was adopted and so when he was he last-name was changed. Therefor off-setting the Death Note. Seems like Rem, the shinigami who 'killed' L, used his changed last-name instead of his REAL last-name. And so, L probably is still living, but because of this occurance his memory has been lost of all of what happened.
