I saw them back in 91, (my memory is hazy, lol) in Atlanta and both Billy and James wore dresses like the ones above and they opened the show with Rhinoceros. Small club, general admission. Met James and Jimmy briefly and talked to Mike Mills of REM who happened to be there to see the show.

I love the ferocity with which Billy plays his guitar. And if ever there was a reason to get your whole body into the playing of your music, this would be a gooood example. Great on the album, excellent live. I remember when I went to their show in 95 and they played this, it was beyond amazing. Plus Billy 4 feet from me,one leg on the amp, looking at me with fire in his eyes, that didn't hurt either!

Siamese Dream, Pisces Iscariot, Mellon Collie, and most of the songs on Aeroplane Flies High were good. I just think Billy should have stuck with the Gish format. This is when they really rocked. Or it could have been the LSD.
