How many channels do you get? Is it the ones you have on your cable box at home or the ones they choose?

i only get about 12 digital channels, the unencrypted HD channels. these usually are the your local abc, fox, nbc,cbs channels.

basically the same channels you can get for free w/a digital antenna but without having to mess with antenna strength. a clear qam tuner will not let you get copy protected hd channels though. you need a cable card tv tuner for those (ie premium digital channels)

Windows 7 RC is live right now, but ofiicial release has been rumored around oct 23 or so.

i would guess def before the thanksgiving day rush; win7 could help sell a ton of laptops during holidays
