This company failed because like so many publishers now gone, they just got greedy. I worked in the games business in the 90's and lots of great PC publishers tried to get into the console market, failing miserably. If Interplay, from day one, had stuck to PC, it would be the No.1 PC publisher today. Given the way the market's gone, it would have had almost a monopoly on "PC style" games and would have sold million's of units. Instead, we now have companies like GSC Gameworld (STALKER) doing it.

"Almost" all the money,3million isn't a lot since they make about 6-8 million a year, they have announced on their forums that they are close to paying it back and that they will more than likely pay it back at most by early next year.On top of that the FALLOUT MMO is set to release late next year and beta early next year and that alone should make them enough money to pay their debt back.The videos are also misinforming, like the fact that there ARE screen shots of the F.O MMO.

As someone who worked there at the time, we were well aware of how bad it was about to get and few of us were surprised at the companies fall. Too many over budget games, too poor of management and too cumbersome processes combined to kill productivity and many, otherwise promising titles. Ask about "Severed Heads" if you want some good stories.
