Yah, the police went way to far. They should fire mayor quan and the two police offiers that shot. One officer shot Scott Olsen in the head and the other police officer shot into the crowd that was their to aid Scott. Fire these three people and maybe the police chief. Let them see how it feels to be without a job and rightly so.

None of this would have happened if the protestors would have followed the orders of the police to evacuate their camping grounds. When you don't cooperate with the police, action is taken, and when you get heated, they get heated. By any means necessary they can enforce the law. You can't make your own rules because you're frustrated. I do not condone what the police did and it was horrible and cruel, but these protestors were given PLENTY of time to evacuate. They put themselves in danger.

@jawkneeboy I guess you would argue that Gandhi and Martin Luther King were wrong to resist as well? The laws are bad; they protect the wealthy Wall Street thugs that destroyed our economy for their own enrichment; therefore one cannot abide with the laws as they are. Man, I love meaningless over-the-top rhetoric as much as anyone else, but that deliberate twisting of the mayor's words out of context is exactly what he spends 90% of his show sniping at Fox for. The "democracy is messy" quote was her expressing initial support for the OWS movement. Keith could not have not understood this, yet he chose to incorrectly claim it was made after the police action. The actual facts of the matter are embarrassing enough. No need for flights of fancy.

@Claytron830000000000 No one died, but a young Iraqi war veteran was shot yesterday by police with rubber bullets or a chemical projectile of some sort. He was already down when police shot at him and others who had come to his aid. Watch the video here..
