also if you didnt know. back in the day there were only called Hed, but the labels decided that sounded to sexual so they made them add the PE at the end of their name.

just to let you know. broke and blackout isnt actualy their style.. thats their manufactured sound. they were forced to play that style. Labels can do a lot to a band.

I beg to differ, their self titled debut was also released on Jive along with broke and blackout. So how the hell could have Jive made them change their sound when they started on Jive. Doesnt make sense buddy. I know my (hed)pe, first shit I heard from them was back in '95 wayyyy before the self titled debut album on Jive. Thanks though

you got a point, the self titled came out when rap rock was a success, but by time blackout came out rap rock dropped a lot in popularity, bands like papa roach and linkin park started chaging their sound also. so jive didnt think hed pe would sell as a raprock outfit anymore.
