  • I'm 35 and I played basketball as a kid until I was 16 in 92'. After school there was not much of a scene for it so I gave up. They're right about the Jordan era, he was the main inspiration for us all. I think NBA Basketball now is really exciting again though, and it should be used to inspire kids to play sport here.

  • @Humanrightsforall1 the NBA has changed a lot since Jordans retirement- it includes lots more international players that helps build the game around the world. luol deng proved this month that he can carry this country on his back!!

  • @Badboypav8 Yes I know, It was good to see Dirk get the playoff MVP. I remember back then there was a British player in the NBA called Steve Bucknall who played for the Lakers. But Deng is better though. I know we got hammered by the French, but they have more NBA players like Parker, Noah etc.

  • @Humanrightsforall1 there will be more and more british players developing this decade- its just a matter of patience as its a long process!!

  • I just wish people would listen to the likes of John Amaechi the man wants basketball to be better in this country but he doesn't try to hide the state it is in now, we need investment in a time when no one (bar the bankers) has any

  • i wanna make docs like this
