  • Can you make it work like the pen, but with your finger? Y'know, with the 1:1 screen representation on the tablet for finger painting and such?

  • Would a stylus work with this device?

  • too large,try ergo touchpad

  • what about gaming?

fps game like counter strike and use a sniper

  • Can you draw with the bamboo touch?? (using your finger?)

  • @Grakekiru

I'm pretty sure you can do so, aswell as with a pen.

  • im thinking of getting this but I want to know if you can map the active aera to the screen just like the pen tabs

  • You cant type with it? Is there like a digital keyboard you can use with it?

  • There doesn't go a pen with this, right? So, you can't draw with it?

    Or can you?

  • @Ataume If you still want to know, they have a Touch & Pen, which is twice the price of the Touch.

  • I have the same tablet..can I use a pen on it??

  • Damn brotha, kinda rough with that 3007. hats off

  • what model monitor is that?

  • can the bamboo touch work with bamboo pen if you buy the pen. i bought bamboo touch and i wanted it with the pen and it seems to work with only my fingers :( im a n artist and i really wanted a bamboo for sketching and painting! please help. im scared i might wasted my money

  • @TheDarkAnimekid956 omg i just bought this and i wasnt sure if it come with the the pen and i bought so i could draw lolz having same problem

  • @Vampuricacid yea i figure it cant work with pen at all. :( you have to buy the ones that has the pen inside it

  • I don't know if you're familiar with a macbook pro touch pad, if so....would you say it is very similar. Looks it. Other than that, works with snow leopard?

  • @xy274 there'd Wacom Pen and Wacon Pen & Touch

these come with a pen. The one of the video doesn't

  • how are you runing mac on a dell computer

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan with my mind

  • @leopardsoup no really dude,im curious too

  • @leopardsoup don't be that stupid ! @Mrcrazycoasterfan he's doing something that we call "hackintosh"

you can read more here: insanelymac

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan install the mac os on a pc....there u go..u got ur self a mac.

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan its just a Dell display, he's probably using a MacMini. or something that is not an iMac... =]

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan It's a Dell monitor.

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan First its actually hackintosh which is OSX (Mac) on a PC second that's probably a custom PC or its Dell Hardware in a CoolerMaster Case. P.S. Hackintosh is kinda illegal, or your really not supposed to run OSX (Mac) on a PC system only on Mac. Hope This Helped, Chris W.

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan hahaaahha you can run it in your "mind"

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan Its not a dell computer, its a dell monitor, the computer is actually a mac.

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan It's only the OS he has installed on the computer.

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan Its called a hackintosh, google it

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan its not a dell cpu the moniter is dell though

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan hackingtosh

  • @Mrcrazycoasterfan Dell screen, mac descktop.

  • it a crackintosh. macs are pretty, overpriced, standard hardware with a nice operating system.

save yourslef 60%, buy a dell, laod the mac software on it.

macs are bullshit expensive and i hate them, but their software is good.

  • @nippi9 They aren't necessarily that expensive. An imac 27" works out cheaper than an equivalently spec dell with a 27 inch ultrasharp monitor(same panel as 27 imac) And the 27 imac is, by several orders of magnitude, more attractive. In fact, the increased productivity I've experienced, just from wanting to use such a beautiful thing, would outweigh the extra cost, in my opinion.

  • for the click buttons can u make it so that you can press it and google chrome or firefox open?

  • Do you have to have photoshop for a tablet if your drawing on the tablet?

  • @chrissyluvsjesse You can use Corel Painter, Paint Shop Pro, etc. - basically anything with pressure support. Other drawing programs are usable as well, but it just acts like a mouse and not a pressure-sensitive drawing device.

  • @leopardsoup Will it work with GIMP?

  • @chrissyluvsjesse the tablet comes with photoshop elements

  • When the he'll is apple coming out with theirs.

  • @DiNatalli Probably never. They have a history of horrible mice, why would they change now? Next it will probably be like a tuna can that cuts open your fingers, but it's white and wireless with a shiny Apple logo on it...

  • @leopardsoup Magic Trackpad out now, woot!

  • @leopardsoup well, there is a touchpad=)

  • @DiNatalli today

  • @DiNatall the magic trackpad

  • @DiNatalli last month

  • can we still draw using this?

  • @cjung09 There's a model they sell with touch & pen. So you can draw too. If only I had posted this before, Robin!

  • is it heat sensitive or can it work with a stylus?

  • @Kawaii63QT I believe it's capacitive like an iPhone, but there is a more expensive version that comes with a pressure-sensitive Pen. Although I saw this one for $49 at Staples the other day.

  • after seeing this ad lik 5billion times i finally see wat this it

  • @NBA2232 Yeah seeing it in action clears it up. It's just like a Mac trackpad.

  • @MrMusicFM But you commented, so I made a dollar off you! Woot!!

  • @leopardsoup Here's another free dollar! If everyone lives were that simple...

  • @MrMusicFM I got a dollar, I got a dollar! I got a dollar hey hey, hey hey! Yeah, too bad the advertising doesn't link to my account, haha. Did you hear that 'David goes to dentist' guy has earned like 6 figures on ads on his video? That's crazy!

  • how do you type??

  • @shyalanar82 With my braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaain

  • Dude, you use one tof the best keyboards ever, props for that

  • @ShepperdW Yo ShepperdW, ima let you finish, but you have one of the BEST comments ever. props for that

  • Comment removed

  • @leopardsoup Thank you... if that is not sarcasm

  • @ShepperdW Kayne...Taylor Swift...meme...lol

  • @leopardsoup lol i understood the reference

  • orrr you can just use a mac track pad!

  • @superfive15 Sure. I'll spend $1200 on a Macbook, rip out the mac track pad, and use it on my desktop. That make sense over $49. A cookie for you for your brilliance, sir!

  • bought today it sucks 70 euro, change it tomorow

  • Yup. Software kills it. Really wanted to like it.

  • I tried that babmboo fun

  • lol no pen ...why I wanna buy tablet with out pen ...to zoom in ...i can do that with my maus

  • OMG im so not gonna get that

  • since when is quick 7 minutes?

  • @mbzdmvp You should see my normal reviews. Houuuuuuurs of fun :D

  • @MrMusicFM good for you. want a cookie?

  • @bstunt Yes please.

  • Can you write with a finger?

  • Another thing. I have very large hands "BASKETBALL hands" ie can grasp an entire 12" 15" ball with one hand. This looks like an Apple Ipod to me, and not to mention easily breakable.

  • @Sileni You could probably wear it as a ring holmes!

  • @leopardsoup O.o? ...I...I never thought of it that way.

  • This is exactly like the 'track pad' on my MacBook pro.

  • @vikkiXvenom Yes, but this 'track pad' is $1,325 cheaper. And bigger. And crappier :D

  • are you using something like iPC or iAtkos?

  • @chriswillb Yeah.

  • i like the 3 fingers idea. i'm not going to buy one until they come out with that.

    and wireless bluetooth.

  • To me these are pointless..Why even use one of these on a desktop when you got the good old mouse.

  • 2 words: carpal tunnel

  • Psh...haha, you got that right.

  • @supersocco 2 words: return policy.

  • @RuthlessCriminal408 That's what I said after a week. It went back. Yay for Best Buy's return policy.

  • Okay, so I'm debating on which version of this tablet to get. I read that the Bamboo Fun comes with extra things, such as graphic software and a wireless mouse. However, I have Photoshop Extended and a wireless mouse already. Are these only the big differences between the two? Or is there something else that would make it worth spending the extra $100?

  • If you're graphic artist, then definitely get the Pen and Touch.

I'm trying to decide if this is accurate enough for me to do precise audio editing in Logic Pro. I'm thinking about tjust buying it and testing it out. I heard the dpi ratio for just the touch was around 100 while the pen is around 2000 dpi

  • I hear pen tablets or pen tool doesn't support or work properly in Photoshop Extended. This may be just "hear say" but pretty sure information is reliable

  • can you use a pen on bamboo touch?

  • Getting a touch tablet is pointless.. Unless you are fingure painting it's like a shitty mouse. Just get a stylus version

  • Finger painting lol

  • Amazing a spelling error. The point still stands.

  • @AbysalRush I love my Wacom Touche

  • @AbysalRush Yeah, if only I had the stylus version...

  • is see a hackintosh

  • why you whine so much about per program? i set my 4 buttons f1 f2 f3 f4 then edited all the program's hotkeys to include f1 as undo f2 as redo etc.. then it works like I want it in every app.

  • @firsh Most of my apps already have the F-keys programmed for other functions. It's like buying a car that only drives you to the supermarket...that's fine until you want to go to the mall or school or your job...they only include certain apps out of the box, with no way of programming it to do anything else. Cool concept, lame execution.

  • nice computer!

  • This thing seems like an overglorified trackpad... Kind of a waste of money

  • I see your point, I can't justify spending the extra money on buying the version which allows for touch. But for people who like drawing, and also like the flexibility of digital storage, this is good.

    =]

  • Yeah, it'd be better to get it with the Tablet if you don't already own one. I really liked the concept, but (1) non-programmable software makes it useless, and (2) it would have been a lot cooler with more than 2 fingers of support. The programmers have to program in functionality PER APP, so while it's great in Photoshop, it's useless in Corel Painter, and so on.

  • Why don't you just change the app's hot keys to work in the same way as the the others? Like, for example, hotkey Corel Painter's function to the same buttons that Photoshop uses and then just make the Bamboo work in the same manner. There you go!

  • what model is that dell?

  • obviously that's a dell....

  • @ swaggalikeriz:

Dell 2407wfp 24" LCD on an Ergotron arm.

  • will the pen tool work for bamboo touch or will i have to buy the bamboo touch+pen?

  • @AJTeezy All I can say is, I tried my Intuos3 pen and it didn't work, so I don't know if it uses a different radio chip inside the pen for the Bamboo model or what.

If you mean the pen tool in Photoshop or Illustrator, I think a mouse is actually the best bet for precisely controlling it. I do freehand with the tablet pen tho.

  • If apple had made this exact product people would pay $300 for it.

  • LOL that's so true.

  • Yup LMAO

  • is this useful in illustrator?

  • Yes, very. The Rotate feature doesn't work (since it's an artboard canvas), but Zoom & Move work fabulously. It's a totally different animal with this on my left and my mouse on my right...

  • how much is it?

  • Starts at $70.

  • Oh for the crappy box that I think is a Mac?

About $200... and worth every cent!

  • if you get the pen and touch, i would think

  • Yeah, if you got the new combo Pen + Touch, it'd be great for both navigation & drawing. I'd probably get the combo for like a laptop, something portable.

  • so this is like a regular touchpad for navigational, etc purposes or is it for graphic arts, etc? interesting I hadn't heard of this device. I got the Intuos 4 some months ago so when i saw this video, i thought they released something better and almost died lol

  • It's totally separate from the Intuos drawing pad. It's for navigation specifically. You'd use this to replace or supplement your mouse, basically.

But it kind of stinks because you can't program it per app...and it only works 100% in some apps like Photoshop, but not Painter. I returned mine :(

  • oh ok! thanks for the reply. Sorry you returned it though!

  • Yeah it's a pretty neat product, but the lack of programmability kills it. It's nothing more than a fancy $70 mouse because of that. If they added per-app programming power, it'd be a total gamechanger imo.

  • well i guess if you are great at drawing with your finger.

  • Yeah exactly. It's a navigational tool, that's pretty much it. Unless you have kids who want to fingerpaint in Photoshop, haha.

There is a new version out with the Pen, so you can draw & use finger gestures on the same device (although not at the same time, obviously).

  • Just ordered it. I hate waiting :(

  • Awesome! Post your impressions :)

I returned mine the other day and was hoping to upgrade to the larger model (still smaller than my Intuos3, easier to carry with my laptop for Pen & Touch), but Best Buy only had the little ones in stock. Ah well!

  • Wacom officially released these today. A few different sizes, some with pens. Yay.

  • Hackintosh! Epic win! :D

  • Hackintosh with Multi-touch, can't beat that with a stick :D

  • why use vmware with a hackintosh haha thats like an ironic paradox

  • Gotta get XP on there somehow ;)

  • lol pls, win7 and osx are completely different instead, now win7 have introduced some function that are very similar to the one were on osx before...but is all user related...the behaviors of both OS are completely different

  • waste of space..

  • what system is that? doesnt look like a mac!

  • Hackintosh :)

  • Why did you Hackintosh, does mac really have fewer errors because 2 days ago I was using my cousin's macbook pro and I got a Safari error, and it had to restart, but with my Windows Firefox, nothing of that sort has happened also is it a problem getting drivers and stuff for the Hackintosh.

  • I built a Hackintosh because the Mac Pro I wanted was $7,200 and the equivalent Hackintosh was $1,800. My Core 2 Quad CPU actually clocks faster than the Quad-Core Xeon in Xbench & Geekbench.

Hackintoshes are okay, if you buy compatible hardware and are careful about upgrades (i.e have a backup drive with Time Machine & SuperDuper). You don't get the cool-looking hardware, but you can replace all of the parts by yourself, which is nice.

    It's not for everyone.

  • OSX and Win7 are virtually identical internally. The overall stability of OSX might seem better to some people, but that's primarily because Apple takes good care of their apps (usually). Whereas in windows land it's a free for all, so you get more dodgy apps. If you pick the right ones, Win7 is great. I use Directory Opus and Opera 10 as my main 2 must have apps on Win7

  • this is stupid

  • I shall be telling my grandkids about this insightful comment.

  • huh..

  • Complete copy of Apple's MacBook Pro trackpad.

  • Everyone copies off everyone else. I don't mind as long as the implementation is slicker. Not to mention Apple 'copied' their multitouch trackpad, but they did it well.

  • Almost...they forgot to add a few fingers though :p Only supports 2, not 4 like Apple's.

  • No four finger expose? Pointless.

  • Yeah, I was bummed about that. I'd really like support for more than 2 fingers. Maybe an Intuos Touch? :p

  • Interesting, it's 98% identical to the old Fingerworks products that Apple bought out. I own the keyboard version and it's like 2 of those which you can type on as well.

  • Yeah, that's exactly what I thought when I saw it on Engadget! It's funny that Wacom released it's own version though. I wonder if Apple will get rid of that crappy Mighty Mouse and make their own version of this pad...

  • Well they have a completed product ready to go with the fingerworks stuff they bought. With a bit of Apple shiny design the fingerworks stuff would be brilliant. They looked SO 80's and cheesy though which was a shame :)

  • nice video man!

  • Thanks! I'm anxious to see what else Wacom has in store, still no Press Release release, oddly enough...

  • I recently purchased the bamboo tablet fun.

I didn't like it all so I took it back, and bougt a samsung flash cam
