In fact, in this episode, T'Pol herself calls it a cycle and even says the line "It's not time", clearly indicating that Pon Farr works similarly for both genders.

However, as I have mentioned earlier, female Pon Farr in ENT contradicts TOS. Why it was introduced? Probably to draw more viewers with "me so horny" T'Pol. Classy.
