if his suppressor is pinned to the barrel and its overal length is 16" it would not be a SBR.

I have two I will put up soon. BUT AND THIS IS INPORTANT!!!!!! ADDING A STOCK WITH THIS ADAPTER WILL MAKE YOUR GUN A SBR ACORDING TO THE ATF. I DONT KNOW THE LAWS FOR SURE BUT IF YOU BUY THIS PART MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT THE LAW IS IN YOUR STATE. What does BRS have to do with anything? Is this how your differentiate a pistol and rifle? What do you classify a 9mm AR or an MP5? You need to need to read the basic description between them. ATF is notorious about making examples of people. If you even own the parts to put this together before the stamp is received, they have and will prosecute on intent to build. Feel free to test the waters with your own ass, but don't encourage other people to do the same.

@ the haters,if you put a laser to a weapon that makes it a laser gun??? please..lets be realistic, the rate of fire will not change, the weapon is totally legal and is consider a pistol, a buttstock will not turn a pistol in to an assault rifle the only thing that it will improve is your acuracy, so tell me what judge will give you jail time for adding a legal buttstock, to a pistol, and do o not call things they are not, it is not a rifle for it will not have the same reach! understand the law

Maybe in Costa RIca, but in the US, that's considered a SBR. Build one without the NFA registry, tax stamp and engraving and that's a 3rd degree felony, say goodbye to the rest of your guns. Please don't mislead people into simply adding this part wihtout going through the proper channels. I'll quote you "Understand the law".
