can I ask, is there a particular type of solder wire I should use? and also is 40watts to high for such delicate soldering because I can't seem to get the melted metal to stick to the motherboard :(
WOW you smart sob i never thought about touching the solder to the iron then just "paint" the solder on there. damn you are good. but you have a nice iron too.
(compared to mine) its hard to do this with when you use an iron from radio shack that costs only 10 bucks! the point is like trying to do this with an eraser on a pencil.
