My gosh!!! They need to make a movie and have this clip in it! There were some intense stories about the floods! The scariest I think was two blocks away from me!! So this ladies house had a weak foundation so the water ripped it of and it started floating away but stuck on some trees! Rescue workers came because the house was flooding and going under and more water was coming but they started floating away too!! To be continued... But seriously!!!!

im going tomorrow(maybe)and im scared to ride all these roller coasters after some important things on the rollercoasters could have possibly fell off. some of them are old and rusted and could have gotten jacked up with the flood and could fall apart with enough weight on it for a long time, gosh ill get chills everytime i ride on a roller coaster tomorrow!!

@thalolybeth You'll be pleased to know that the only place a flood can REALLY damage a ride is at the core of its station since that is where all of the electrical systems are located. What's good about that is the people who built the rides at Six Flags Atlanta took precaution of flood hazards and built the stations above the ground. Only rides that are in risk of severe damage is The American Scream Machine & Ninja since they are always getting flooded.

I, for one, will not be going to six flags for a while. water, wood, metal, electricity, and heights just doesn't sound like a party want to be a part of. I may be wrong, but I just don't see how they can deem those rides safe after this...at least not until significant repair, or even total rebuild happens.

They are still opening the park today...but I don't understand how they're going to do it. They've lost stores, restaraunts, vending booths, various games and attractions...and we all know that Six Flags is close to filing bankrupt already (which would explain lower prices). Mr. Keith is beung unrealistic. The rides are DAMAGED...the sidewalks beneath them could be devastated. It wouldn't be right if innocent people were dead due to greed.
