My mate has a son who is autarded;its hideous, with a massive bulbous head, wide staring eyes, stinks of piss and shit and runs round the house on its tip toes making shrieking noises;its an obscene repulsive freak., that can only be cured by our lord Jesus:Adolf Hitler
Not all children have every symptom. My son is autistic, and he will look you in the eye, and his OVERLY empathetic when others are in distress or pain. I can relate to any parent raising an autistic child. It's hard, but so well worth it. Unless another parent has raised an autistic child, they could never understand.. right?
My sister has a dog name is Landon. I call Landon my little nephew dog. My 14 years old boyfriend has Down Syndrome/Autism & I am 16 years old with Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy. My name is Michaela & his name is Andrew. Andrew change me when I started to dated him 3 years ago. Because he makes me strong because my big brother who is 3 years & 1 day older the me is in Germany doing college as a freshman doing Business Laws.
Sounds like you two are meant to be and to me that is a blessing. Many blessings to you and your family.
Landon is my husbands name and when I met him I never heard of that name so when little Landon was born we decided to name him Landon. I just love the name. Thank you for your comment sweetie.

I like your attitude, I've worked with kids with autism for 5 years, and one thing I've realized is that they have a very special way of viewing the world. It is unfortunately not conducive to functioning well in society, but with patience and persistence they can learn from us and we can learn from them. The biggest mistake people make is assuming that they (kids with autism) have nothing to offer. We can't expect them to see things our way if we don't first attempt to see things their way.
Thanks! I have learned a great deal from my little guy and you're right that people don't give autistic kids a lot of credit. My son Landon is very intelligent. He may be non verbal but he is amazing. When he runs around the yard with his arms stretched out looking up at the sky it makes me wonder what is going through his mind. Its amazing how wonderful they really are and I wish people would look at it that way. Thanks for your comment ParallelUniversity.
I agree. I wouldn't want Landon any other way. I love him for who he is. Even if he enjoys the sound of a whole box of cereal being poured on the kitchen floor lol. He did that the other morning and fell over laughing. I couldn't even be mad because I was laughing with him. It was wonderful. Thanks for your comment
i myself having autism. in its mildest form. i can of course relate to this situation and what you must go through as a parent. i may be high functioning but it dosent mean i should be forgotten about. HFA and aspergers although not as severe as the autism i belive your talking about dosent mean it dosent matter. its a real thing that exists. i dont wanna call it an "issue" as such. but yeah awarness of autism in all its forms needs to be raised

@beckasha83 I know not all autistic children have the same symptoms but the majority do.
A lot of people don't understand. My own family asks me all the time how do I do it? I just tell them well.... I wouldn't have it any other way :)

He's so cool. So far as his attention span, he does tend to look at me in the eyes for a respectable amount of time.
I love it.

Yeah because he knows you and he sees you a lot. With other people he tends to ignore and not look at them.
