I was at this gig he started with " SEEDS " Shane broke a string on his guitar so Bruce started telling a joke about an Irish guy but Shane fixed his guitar and Bruce never did tell the punchline lol happy times.......

Im from Freehold, attended Saint Rose 10 years behind Bruce t I know this much the only worfking mans bues this cat ever experienced is what he watched his Old Man live. Kudos to him for having the grit, intellegence and skills to escape similar. Come on Bruce what do really know about hard times?. Now your a political activist agaisnt Big Bad America, where else in the world can you get stinking rich singing narcissicistic songs about yourself!
Learn to spell wee son before you comment, and get things straight. This was written about 500 years before your wee ass touched the ground. This man can write from any perspective, and once you can write one that is even 100 times close then I will listen. Therfore don't comment oyu wee wank job!
Hey wee wee head, writing from any perspective other then what you lived is called bull poop. Brooce is an opportunistic bullpooper who siezed the bull by the horns
LOL what in hades is a wee wank job I bet your a self perceived intellectual who voted for Barry and doesnt even know who your congressman is much less what bar Dylan Thomas drank in you know that wee little welsh drunk! LOL you be a wee trip yes you wee be!
Second, Springsteen, always has been, and will always be, the voice of the common man, and the hard working stints who sacrificed their dreams and hopes so their loved ones could survive. To say he is only artistic is so wrong it pains me to see somebody think that. You can't write something this good without having lived it.
I hope he never dies. Whenever im feeling down, he reminds me that im not alone, and that, is a gift worth having.
@MAYPOHEAD Of course he didn't live hard times after 1975, nobody would deny that. But he knows what it feels like to live hard times and, in case he wouldn't, the voice he gives to the common people is already something to appreciate.
And I'll tell u something. He was somehow a social outcast in highschool, he had many arguments with his dad and he left home at the age of around 20. Then he worked in a pizzeria, he spent nights and nights playing, sleeping with his first band mates in little, shitty apartments. In the first tours they drove for hours and hours, they didn't have money to stay at hostels so they had to sleep in the car. He knew lots of people who were just part of the oppresed working class.
Of course he wasn't one of them since born to run, but he knew what it was like to have but few money, to "drive all night" to play rock'n'roll for 10 people, and work in a shitty restaurant.
Next time, just inform yourself before comment and do it in a better way!
(sorry if something's not right, english's not my mother tongue but I learn other languages and try to write properly!)
Anyone who finds themselves in Milton Keynes is on a seriously downbound train. A gigantic toytown carbuncle obliterating what was a sizeable slice of the green and pleasant land. Pity that RAF Bomber Command is no longer around. Whatever, great video.
this brings back great memories of this concert .i was there good venue and great concert.springsteen was great on this tour but i truely missed the e-street band.if i remember correctly he started off this show with an acoustic of darkness ,does anyone have this.regards from OZ
It was on "Born in the USA" that Album had 7 or 8 top 10 singles. after 2 years of that album He was on to "Tunnel of love". This song gets played live. Bruce fans don't think it's underrated.
I'd have to say this is the worst version up on youtube ;), Paris 85 and Hamburg 03 that can also be found on youtube are better. Which isn't to say this isn't worth watching.
The words "Springsteen" and "Milton Keynes" somehow don't belong in the same sentence.

first off learn english, and learn how to type.
