  • i shot one of these when i was 13, and i was scared, i was sitting there aiming for like 6 mins, and my dad was starting to get pissed

  • I bought an Armscorp National Match in 1986. The accuracy is astounding. Nice video.Thanks.

  • Can you mount a scope on that nice rifle?

  • @sueperhopper Yes I believe so but you have to remove the stripper clip guide.

  • all i can afford is the chinese m14 : P

  • i like spending money on GUNS AND AMMO not flashlights and glasses

  • For the price its ridicoulous how they made the top plastic, I mean I probably would have bought it if it had a nice metal heatshield with holes in it

  • I love my standard one like yours these are awesome shooters just like the garand! Great video!

  • is the plastic actualy wood or wood colored plastic?

  • @mrantihippie The hand guard on top is not wood - it's plastic.

  • @nashi55 its fiberglass

  • I don't like how the butt plate doesn't match up flush around the edge of the stock.

  • @Meakaua Current M1As can shoot both per Springfield Armory. They said it's really designed for 308.

  • Why do you ecsenuate the h in awHile?

  • Are there any draw backs for a left hand shooter using this rifle?

  • @JetMechMA No, I shoot lefty on long guns and find no issues with doing this on this rifle. Awesome gun, pricey, but awesome. I use mine for hunting right now, But to your point, no issues when shooting lefty.

  • You are very well spoken. You have a good delivery style. The white background for the video is perfect. This is an interesting rifle. Has a great history and you show it off well. I'd like to buy one some day. Thanks.

  • @Meakaua Going by memory the first rifle badged as M1As used surplus GI parts, so I believe they used surplus 7.62. But I never said I was an expert on their history!

  • What is the "topstock" made of, it looks like plastic?

  • @1339LARS The Army wanted the M14 to weigh less so the original wood hand guard was replaced. I believe they used fiberglass. The civilan M1A uses plastic.....so either way it ain't wood!

  • @nashi55 Thanks for the info!

  • @1339LARS fiberglass

  • they are reaaly great guns great accuracy out of the box thats why the us army is using them in afghanistan

  • How difficult is it to install a scope on that rifle?

  • would this be a good rifle to get as a first gun?

  • @denisaaj 30-30 would be a better choice for a young shooter too me.

  • @denisaaj i recommend a ruger 10/22

  • @xxuncexx oh ok. well i mean im not new to guns or anything lol just thinking about a gun for my 19th birthday coming up

  • first shot the best? I have a "loaded" version and am VERY happy with the consistency of this weapon. I shoot tight groups all day long with this rifle, we're talking about 150 rounds per range visit. ??

  • I'm definitely getting one of these in the future.

  • has the m1-a been made in 30-06 and in large enough numbers to not super expensive and hard to find

  • @hummerskickass 30-06? Not that I've seen. They're enough out there so that prices have come down. Shop around & look at nice used ones to.

  • thank you reason i ask is due to a similar qestion the 556 223 issue i just needed to know for 308

  • If it was me i would remove all the cleaning tools from the stock, and replace the fiber glass hand guard with a walnut one, i would want to shift as much of the weight to the front as possible, also i personally prefer the full walnut look, the fiberglass looks out of place onit.

  • i thank i have finally decided on the scout squad m1a rifle in green composite. it comes with a chrome moly barrel which im really excited about. ill probably be purchasing it sometime after im done with all my taxes. still love looking at your rifle vids. looking forward to seeing more of them.

  • @veilofpaya Sounds like a nice choice. Glad you like it....thanks.

  • what is this rifle chambered in 308 or 7.62 by 51 (NATO) further more does the rifle except stripper clips or detacthble magzines reson ask real diffrence in pressures between anto winchester rounds

  • @kullas924 It's a Springfield Armory M1A. It uses a detachable magazine.

  • @kullas924 You can detatch the magasine but you can also feed stripper clips from the top of the rifle while the bolt is locked back which feeds directly into the detatchable mag, you can see the U shaped notch on the top of the M1a's receiver where it would go, the M1 doesn't have this.

  • @kullas924

Furthermore, M1A's can accept both NATO ammo and civilian production .308 rounds.

  • what is this rifle chambered in 308 or 7.62 by 51 (NATO) further more does the rifle except stripper clips or detacthble magzines

  • What the big difference between the .308 round and the 30-06? Is it case length? Accuracy?

  • @Mr2wings The 30-06 case is longer. I'd say the accuracy is so close there isn't much difference. Others can add more info I'm sure.

  • the M1A is almost like a m1 carbine or is it the same ?

    lol

  • @1makermovie No it's completely different from the M1 carbine. It's based on the M14 design, which has some similar features to the M1 Garand.

  • @1makermovie the m1a is based on the m14 wich is based on the m1 garand and the m1 carbine is based on the m1 garand.

yes america likes to use "M1"

  • @1makermovie the m1 carbine also shoots a pistol round

it was issued to some tankers and higher ranking officers that wanted something a lil more then a side arm

  • @1makermovie Go on wikipedia, it will clear it all up for you.

  • is there any other company that makes the m14

  • @horsefeathers87 Fulton Armory makes a version of the M1A. Thiers is more expensive though.

  • no question about it, m1a is superior dna and a premier choice for a main home battle rifle. this bad boy will deliver thunder in any situation and a great choice over some other loser alternatives. You can not go wrong with this piece!

  • Hey nashi55, who cares you can't put lasers and all that Tacticool crap. I like our old Military saying which most ppl dont even respect anymore. KISS. Keep it Simple, Stupid.

Great review, awesome gun, and to all others remeber,

A cheap Firearm is NEVER good. A GOOD Firearm is NEVER cheap.

    Thanks for the review

  • @respectforveterans Some seem to like that stuff more than the rifle it's on. I like the old school look personally. Of course those tools can be beneficial.

    Glad you liked it. Thanks!

  • @respectforveterans A good firearm is never cheap? I beg to differ with you sir. An AK clone can be bought for a cheap amount of funds. And guess what? they are reliable. So, you can have a good firearm that is cheap to purchase.

I have had one of the best M4 clones. (An AR15) money can buy. Spent a shit load on it. It wasn't reliable for me then and that is why I sold the P.O.S. and bought some AK's. Why? because I every time I pull that trigger it goes BANG!

  • @respectforveterans you were a marine werent you. in anycase also like the traditional look. but i also like the SASS stock replacement that troy industries make. im going to get one of those and keep the wood stock in the closet and just change it out once in a while. And ya theres a lot of tacticool bs ou there but some of that stuff is actually pretty useful. mostly detatcable sights, scopes, A4 handle w/ light and anything from trijicon. i wouldnt go further than that.

  • @respectforveterans i think on certain models you could even add on the tactcool crap.

  • @respectforveterans

I don't agree about what you said,i have a Norinco m14,cheap than M1A S.A,but i can guarantee i can shoot better than S.A,remember.........the good gun doesn't make the good shot if it in a bad shooter.80% depend on shooter,20% on the gun.

  • @kendyluu go shoot a musket then and tell me its not the gun

  • The fine print: the recievers are cast not forged like USGI Military M14's. Since it's 2010, all SA inc (not the US SA, which closed in 1967) USGI parts have dried up and now many are imported parts from china or wherever. None of the M1A's are under MIL SPEC, so they can use w/e in the parts and assembly process and don't use the Original TRW Blueprints like the Military.Cast must be twice as thick to equal a Forged Reciever. Older M1A's usually have some USGI parts but still a cast reciever.

  • @respectforveterans plz dont kill me M1A owners lol. It is still a truely magnificent piece of work. But some ppl are PURIST's when it comes to what they're Firearms are made from. And also, what the use of it will be is a HUGE most important factor when choosing. As for the recievers which is the heart of all Rifles,CAST can be compared to partical board. Strong, but not all one material. Forged is like having Oak. Again the above post by me was not a Flame of the M1A, just the fine print lol

  • @respectforveterans Hey Genius where are you getting all this information from? I would be interested in seeing this info first hand. You gotta War Face? show me your War Face Lol

  • do u think a 14 year old could handle it

  • @chimichanga1254 Guess it depends on them - maybe if they have hi-po rifle experience already. If not, I'd wait a few more years - let them work up to it first. Bolt & lever action first, then this.

  • @nashi55 Apparently that is a military buttplate, but, since you have one, do you figure that you could really smash someone's skull with the butt? Thanks in advance for responding.

  • @45calibermedic Well I don't know...but a good hit could easily break a nose or cheek bone. It has two small hollow tubes inside, but it's still very solid. Hate to find out from the receiving end....

  • Well I can tell you that M1A you have is not going to Jam on your like some Piece of shit AR15, M4..... You have the best weapon money can buy.......

  • @geriatricgoonsquad I picked it over an AR, but they are fine rifles too. Just a little light in the caliber dept too me.

  • @geriatricgoonsquad Oh thats bullshit I own a m1a as well and its a great weapon but I also own 2 m4s and have never had a jam with over 5000 rounds through each!!

  • @ridah925 It's not bullshit you need to check some stats my man. Would you trust your life with it? I sure as hell wouldn't. You more than likely keep those fuckers lubed up to don't you? The M4 is not reliable when you get it dirty it will jam. It's been proven over and over again. In Iraq our boys are picking up the Ak-47 and using it over the M4 because why? it won't jam, wow what a concept!

You keep telling yourself it's reliable in the Field. It's not and I can send you proof of it.

  • @geriatricgoonsquad From what I read a few months ago, the U.S. Army has already decided the M4 replacement will be a gas piston design. It was in guns & ammo mag if memory serves me right. Perhaps it will be along the lines of the FN Herstal's SCAR.

  • @nashi55 Yeah, those are somewhat better but I still would not trust it with my life. That is my opinion.

  • @geriatricgoonsquad Yes I would trust my life with my m4s otherwise I wouldnt own them!! I have boys over in country right now who trust their m4/m16s with there life every day and that weapon system has never failed them, so dont give me some bullshit line like its not reliable and i can send you some proof that I got online!!

  • @ridah925 Well, you think whatever you want ass hole. I am telling you I wouldn't. Me, get it! I said I would not trust my life with an M4 / ar15/ M16 SCAR. I think they are shit, they do jam, it's a proven fact they jam in combat and out troops have gotten fucked up because of it. You believe what you want the fact remains the same. They suck my dick, I said it. It's what I think and know. Trust your life with it. I'll take my AK over any M4 anyday

  • @geriatricgoonsquad LOL I see your an ak fanboy I bet you have never owned an ar platform in your life!! Well I own both and have been shooting for over 20 years and Ill take my m4 over my ak any day AR system is way more versitile, accuarate, and can shoot much further then ak. Fanboys like you kill me you put down other systems when you have no experience with them at all or cuz you own a certain platform everything else sucks haha

  • @ridah925 Well, first of all the term Fanboy is a gay ass term. How old are you anyway? Secondly, I owned one of the best Ar15's money can buy. I sold the piece of shit and bought the Arsenal SGL-20 AK47. You are correct the AR is a more Accurate platform. But would you rather be shot with a 5.56 round or a 7.62X39? A 5.56 is just going to piss you off when you get hit with it. A 7.62X39 is going to kill your ass. Most engagements happen within 100 yrds. I'll fuck you up at that distance.

  • Now let me ask you a question have you ever owned an AK or shot an AK? I didn't think so. I think you are trying to project yourself in a favorable light. I however know for a fact the AR is a piece of shit. Bottom line in a battle between your platform and my platform is going to leave you holding your nutbag in disgust. I have no doubt the AK is much better than the AR is a proven fact go do some research.

Besides this vid is about the M1A again, better then the P.O.S. AR15 Hahahahaahahaa

  • @geriatricgoonsquad Wow your an Idiot!! In a recent seal operation a seal got hit 17 times close range with an ak47, 12 of those rounds missed his sapi plates and hit soft tissue he was in critical condition but amazingly suffered no major injuries and is back on the teams. I personally know a marine who took down a terrorist with one fatal shot out of his m16 using m855 at 340 yards, now did he get lucky maybe but the point is its all about shot placement there is no magic bullet Go play COD!!

  • @ridah925 Wow your a cocksucker. Go and push your AR bullshit on someone who cares. I don't give a shit about your AR platform or anything about it or you for that matter. Yeah, the jarhead got a luck shot. The seal that got hit 17times with an AK at close range was lucky to say the least. Does that mean he could have gotten hit with an AR 30 times and lived?

I don't plat Call of Duty but I can tell you do. No like I said go sell your AR bullshit to someone else.

  • @ridah925 Oh yeah, I blocked your stupid ass. Tired or listening to you rant about your AR platform It sucks dick much like yourself. PERIOD!

  • @geriatricgoonsquad I own an Arsenal ak47 and a lot more guns than you do little boy if you actually read my comment you would have seen that!! Your a disrespectful CUNT!!

  • @ridah925 You are a hard son of a bitch to get rid of aren't you? Lol, I could really give a shit what you own. I'm proud for you. I would have to female to be a cunt. Let me ask you a question Ass Hole. Do you really think your AR is better than an AK? I think you know the answer to that question. It's of course NO. Go dump some sand in that AR and see if it shoots. It's been tested time and time again. You want to keep arguing about this? really? Get a life Gay boy you are boring me to death

  • @ridah925 Another thing, How do you know how many guns I own Ass hole? Don't make assumptions they make an ass out of you. But then again you do a good enough job of that on here so you don't need any help. It always cracks me up to see Fuckers on You Tube that think they know what everyone else has. Little Boy Now that comment is funny to me. How would you like to go home and tell your mom or Wife that a little boy beat your ass :) hhahahahaha Idiot

  • @geriatricgoonsquad HAHA how did you beat my ass? thats funny!! the ak is outdated and hasnt changed in 60+ years yah its reliable but it is very limited in what it can do and thats why the AR system is used by modern militaries around the world and why aks are used in piss poor third world countries!! The AR is way more versitile, accurate, light weight, further shooting, and overall just a better platform for modern warfare. Theres a reason why the greatest military in the world uses the AR15

  • @ridah925 There you go with thoe Video game references again. I don't play Modern Warfare or Call of Duty. Eugene Stoner was a Douce. His design was cool but other than that it's JUNK. You are aware the U.S. Military is looking at replacing the M4 Right? I really don't want to argue with you about this.

    Let's just agree to Disagree......

  • @geriatricgoonsquad Okay Im done. you cant have a debate with people like you cuz you will never agree on the facts and you just make personal attacks!! take care

  • @ridah925 Hey, Looks like you have a buddy on here that is supporting your AR crap. I will say one thing, And I may have said it before. If and I mean If the U.S. installs Gas Piston Conversions on the M4's you may have a reliable or somewhat more reliable weapon system. Don't get me wrong Sir, if the M4 was a reliable as an AK clone then I would have one. I agree the Accuracy is the there with the M4. The bullet is pussyfied but it can do some damage. Do you agree with the Gas Piston comment?

  • @geriatricgoonsquad Original Stoner design idiot. M16's were 20 in.barrels which gives the Rifle much more time to cycle and is much easier on the DI.The M4 is 16 in.or less, much harsher on the BCG. However there are things called (hint) gas blocks which can make the M4 DI legnth that of a M16.There is no STANDARD Gas Piston System Yet for 556. Many are made from diff makers and diff parts. Once they are standardized, the M4 or SBR will be much more reliable than an old ass AK ever was.

  • @respectforveterans In my opinion, the only way they could improve on the M4 is by retrofitting any new weapon they have with a Gas Piston Conversion. I know the SCAR has one I believe but when you are taking about making this modification to every M4 or putting this conversion on every new M4 then you are talking about spending some serious cash. But hell, why not we are so Fucked as a Country right now who cares if we go further in Debt. The AK seems to work for other countries. Hmmmm

  • @geriatricgoonsquad LOL, kinda funny how you see the first comment,,reply totally hate, then by my last, i'm actually liking you and you are easing up, lol, hey I TOTALLY agree with the GPU on M4's. That is why SOCOM/SAS/DELTA w/e mostly uses (shhhh) HK 419 or ANYTHING HK. They perfected Short GPU decades well.. a while ago. The thing about the true M4 though,,is the improvment with the Mid legnth DI system. Now you got 2" of more gas coming in, i no quite many GI's who will swear by it

  • @respectforveterans also, a M16/M4/AR DI system is the truest form of any 3 systems to being "Free Floated" = not affecting barrel at all. ANY GPU, short and especially long will quite a bit. Also adds weight, will burn the hell out of you at the top gas vent (short GPU) and if it BREAKS,,with SOO many parts,,your shit out of luck. A DI is SIMPLE. EASY to clean, and VERY reliable. ever hear of a boresnake? clean my issue in 20 seconds,.love your m16/m4/ar15 and it will do you just fine,

  • @respectforveterans timeless fight will never end with aks, lol, but short gpu's,,HK is got the militarys covered,,civilians prolly got years,SCAR,ACR,blah are crap,,shot them all,,main thing is never been REAL field tested,,Take care

  • @geriatricgoonsquad

Served in nam 69-71 The M-16 was being abandoned for the AK. However the M-14 never failed me or anyone else.

  • @MrStinger70 I appreciate your service to our country sir. I love the M14. Wish they would never have taken her out of service so quick. She is making a comeback.

  • @geriatricgoonsquad Quite funny, most of the AK 47's YOU say are SO reliable are actual imitation AK's. Romania, Yugo even Russian are not made right anymore. The real AK's that are made to Mikhial Kalishnikovs Specifications are only found in a few models today, mainly the Norinco, Polytech, and Hungarian. The M4 is a shorter DI system than the M16, so if the army had a USGI GPU (which does not exsist yet) the M4 would make the AK look like a Muzzleloader compared to a USGI Gas Piston in a M4.

  • @respectforveterans I'm glad I can amuse you. It's funny to me. you always seem to get some ass hole chime in but hey, it's all good. You mean like they AR's you buy today aren't actual G.I. issues M4's kinda like that. Yeah, I know the AK's I am using today are not the Actual true AK47. However, They are still more reliable then a Shit True G.I. Issued M4. The facts still remain true. The M4's are still jamming in Iraq PERIOD! You are talking about the Gas piston like it's in all M4's.

  • I'm getting the M1A Loaded ..... I will have that, An Arsenal SGL-20 AK and an AMD65 AK and I am set for the zombie Invasion...

  • Great report!

  • I just bought a Springfield Armory M1A today here in North Carolina right outside the base I'm at (i'm a Marine). This is by far my favorite rifle and best I've ever shot. Most accurate rifle I've shot as well... It's got a nice price tag of about 1600 after taxes but worth every penny. Also, it is an investment, as the M1A gains about 75-100 in value every year.

  • I would buy one with a muzzle break. I'm gonna replace it with a lugged flash hider anyway, having two is redundant.

  • @tmayhew01 : you suck

  • i would use the 20 or a 30 round mag for hunting cuss 10 and 5 rounds ive found in most guns ive shot (witch is not much do be honest) it seems like i have to dig the mag out to reload. so a larger 20 or 30 round would me more um ergonomic i think the term is? but i could go with the 10 or 15 round im sure cuss atleast there thers something to grip onto ather than diging it out like a 5 round would be. but larger would = more of something to grip onto

  • @ViperEcho14 when you hunt with a larger magazine you tend to subconciously think that if you miss it doesnt matter because you have more to hit em with. the less you have the better. 10 rounds would be perfect for hunting because you would be comfortable with having the option to tag the animal again if you do miss, but you dont expect to miss like you might with a 20 rounder. OH and i dont think they have a 30rounder for the M14

  • me and my dad are thinking of getting an m1a but we where worred about the "slam fire" issue and i was wondering if you could tell me some about that and how much of an issue it is. if you can let me know but if not thats ok.

  • the original had the fiberglass, we actually had retired M14s at our school. they had selector switches and everything. the real deal.

  • meg griffin?...hawhile

  • nice bro...check mine out

  • I love the M1A!!

  • @MadBadVoodo Me too. These rifles are one of the best around for a number of situations....

  • Is there any aftermarket stocks for this rifle that have a 6 postion and rail system that u know of?

  • @BigIceWolf90 Seems like i have seen some, but don't remember the brand.

  • @nashi55 if u know of any o anyone that would know would u please let me know because i love my M1A SocomII but im a 6'5'' and the standard butt stock is alittle uncomfortable for my long arms

  • put a rubber recoil pad on it. It will extend it a couple inches and make it more comfortable

  • The Sage EBR stock is like that but its expensive.

  • Just type in EBR on the serach, youll find it.

  • @Transporter1022 thx ive check into them vltor and i new brand that makes them out of carbon fiber so thx everyone for the help

  • Sage EBR and VLTOR. Maybe others. They are hella expensive, but something to consider.

  • Just saw that the Sage EBR and VLTOR have been mentioned. I'm waiting on a Socom 16 from my ffl and will have to wait on that expense (plus I'm a shorty:). If you care to you could probably find a pull-on stock extension in the mean time. I know they make 'em for shotguns and bolt actions. Bound to be one out there to fit the Socoms, I'd hope.

  • vltor modstock. and youll need a vltor cluster rail for the rails.

  • @BigIceWolf90

Try Troy Industries. They're extremely pricey, but I do know that some of the U.S. military uses their stocks.

  • @BigIceWolf90 Troy Industries makes one its called the M14 Modular Chassis System (mcs) just a warning they are pretty expensive your gonna be looking at about a grand or more

  • @BigIceWolf90 Check out a website called Desertwarriorproductions just google it. you will find some awesome Stocks and rail systems for the M1A Weapon.....

  • Hey Nash-

how about a vid on how to take one apart, clean, lube and put back together?

    thanks

  • @rickbar123 Yeah, I'd like to do that one. It's on the list, some others have asked for it too.

  • Thanks, one was left to me.

I have no idea how to break it down, clean, lube.....nothing

  • @rickbar123 You can download a pdf of the owner's manual from the springfield armory website. Might be a good place to start. I'd suggest watching any m1 Garand vids on cleaning since they are similar. Might be some good background info. Hope that helps....

  • thanks 55

  • Very nice rifle. Bought mine two years ago, also walnut stock. Many people think it's heavy but it's well balanced for it's size.

I like the scout version which is 18 inch barrell length compared to standard's 22 inches.

  • When you say that it is heavier than an AR style rifle you mean an AR15, because the AR10 (also chambered in .308) is much heavier than the M1A.

A friend built his AR10 and it weighs in at a hefty 14 pounds!

  • @Crimble67 Yes..the 556 version.

  • Just bought a M1A 9826 / BLK SYN stock with stainless.

    Good video , thanks

  • This was really helpful. I just picked up one of these and love it. It was nice being able to take a good look at it here to help me narrow my choice. I was debating between this and a SOCOM 16, but ultimately went with the national match. thanks.

  • Great review! keep em coming!

  • Sucks we own a ruger mini 30 here in california sheesh the magazines are so small! You cant even get a 15 rounder!

  • Excellent video review Nashi, thanks very much. I'm also a traditionalist and like the simple, solid old-school philosophy. I bought a new M1A Scout Squad in black fiberglass stock last month and couldn't be any happier with it. It's a dream to shoot with the muzzle break Springfield ships the rifle with. I'm planning on mounting an intermediate-eye-relief scout scope in low rings on the forward rail; should be a very sweet setup.

  • Thanks! Sounds like you'll have a great rifle and one that you'll enjoy using for years.

  • Hey there, i have a question for you sir.

Does the S.A. M1A come with a detachable muzzle device or a bayonet lug? I live in new york and we have to comply with the assault weapons ban here, so i was wondering if that stuff was on there? Thanks man.

  • Nope, the bayonet lug isn't offered anymore. The supressor isn't switchable to anything else.

  • how well does the synthetic part of the forearm stock hold up?

  • So far...good. BUT I have seen one spot towards the muzzle that got rather hot after the one video where I shot 20 rds. You can see the plastic began to discolor a bit. With heavy use there may be more - maybe the tolerences are very close and it needs more space to keep it cool..

  • thank you very much.

  • I love your video no B.S straight forward, you never claimed to be a m1a ninja just a normal guy that bought one, likes it, and shared, thanks!!!

  • Thanks for a common sense comment. Never said I was anything but a guy with some guns. Glad you liked it.

  • Makes a great hunting rifle, especially when equiped with a Bassett scope mount. The 308 Win round is acceptable for anything you can hunt in the USA, including moose and grizzly bears. Been there, done that, so this is the voice of experiance.

  • I own a new SA M1A which is similar to the M14 I had in Vietnam. Operates as well as the original and still a accurate firearm. Your videos and personal experience with the weapon are good and don' t let wanabee say otherwise.

  • Thanks and thanks for serving.

  • The only woodstock I knew anything about in 1968

  • I'm from Italy..and here we all shoot with the NEW NORINCO M14 rifles..completely different from the old ones. It's difficult to find someone with a Springfield here..'cause of the absurd cost..2500 euros!!! while A norinco M14 costs 800 euros. New Chinese M14 have chromed lined barrels...good and hard parkerized finish, walnut stocks!!(yess yanks..walnut!!) and with my rifle I could hit an apricot at 200 yards.......in addition there are no more problems of heat treatment...

  • I wish the US would lift its Chinese weapons ban.

  • When or where did I say I'm an expert? I haven't said that yet and won't say that because I 'm not. I own one and have used it at the range. My videos provide my opinions based on that experience only. Read my comments when a viewer asks a question and you'll see I do not portray myself as any expert.

  • Why don't YOU post videos and share your M14 experience?

  • sir, does your m1a has a chrome lined barrel? you think stainless barrel would be a good investment, i plan to buy 1 sa m1a loaded ss barrel....nice video

  • No I don't believe it's chrome lined - never read anything that states it is. It does not appear to be either...

  • I believe, from what I've read, that it actually is chrome lined.

  • Only Norinco and ( in the US ) Polytech M14Ss are chrome-lined.

  • Wrong Moron. LRB, SAI, Fulton, SEI all have chrome lined barrels. LRB Uses Criterion (Kreiger made) barrels in both chrome and steel. I should know, I have 2 M1A's and 2 LRB's.

  • Good luck googling stuff.

Calling people names won't drive your point any further.

    Asshat.

  • LMAO!

  • im thinking about buying a rifle like this but im leaning towards a ruger mini 14 because i think its almost just like the m14 but shoots a smaller and cheaper round the 223 or 7.62 by 39.

  • Dont get me wrong mini 14's kick ass, but i donno about the 223 i gotta a lwrc m6a2 and that shoot 556 and 223 and it seems about the same for the cost of ammo ( at least where I am ). And with the m1a you do have more firepower going with it, end the end though it is all up to you and you cannot go wrong with either.

  • It all depends on what you plan on using them for. I mean you don't want 7.62 for room clearing and you don't want 5.56 for targets 700m out...that's why I own both haha. Of course you could always go .338 Lapua :-P

  • My favorite semi auto riffle I own two of em a socom16 and one like yours

  • what do you think of the bypod that springfield armory sells ...i have seen them on e-bay for alot less

  • Haven't really looked at them. I'd want to make sure it's a good quality peice that would fit before buying off ebay. Might be worth it to buy from SA to make sure it matches the gun.

  • once again good vid man keep it up

  • Thank you!! This was about the third one I did because I wasn;t happy with the others. As long as people keep watching and enjoying the videos, I'll keep doing them. Thanks again.
