The KK pudding was sticky and hard on my hair also, but maybe Deva Curl would be better.

It looks good. When I use kinky curly I also got hard hair. I had to put it on in really small sections otherwise it would dry in a sheet, and the whole section would clump together. I think I'm gonna try this, and see what results I get.

I really haven't used Deva Curl since then... after a couple of days I noticed a slight build up feel on my hair (it was almost sticky feeling and I didn't like that at all...) maybe it will be better for you... I have found myself using the sunsilk captivating curl conditioner again... even though it doesn't contain the healthiest ingredients... it works well then I scrunch with some type of styling gel or smooth and shine curl activator gel... fyi ;)

I have this product and i didnt get good results. But yours looks pretty!!!! Maybe it didnt work because my hair texture is more wavy. But im going to watch the deva curl vid for a tutorial. Great review!!!!!

I haven't really used it since.... 1 am not a fan of wash n goes and 2 it kinda got crunchy the more I used it... so we are both in the same boat ... it really wasn't a good fit for me either... ;( Thanks for commenting...

It can't hurt to try but let me say that it doesn't create curl it just holds curl in ur hair... so if you don't have a lot of curl in ur hair u may want to wash ur twist out with the deva curl to get an exaggerated curl def ... that's what I did... I don't use it much I tend to stretch my hair with a braid out and then I twist it using the eco olive oil gel in bigger twist all over my head and that works better at giving me curl def... Good luck with the deva curl if you decide to try it... ;)

I hope it works for ya... I must say now that after a couple of uses... it seemed to make my hair feel squishy/rubbery... to the point that I just had to apple cider vinegar rinse it... I liked the look but with continued use it seemed to give me that feeling that kind of annoyed me... I like my hair to be soft to the touch... but anyway I hope this helps ya ... do let me know how u like the product...

I have never used the Care line but the natural named MSHeather somthin' or another... has a video on it... she said that she liked it ... she just said that there was something about the product that she liked... u might wanna check that vid out.. if you do a search on deva curl u will find it... I am so glad I found it because I have never had results like that before...OMGod and the smell is just lovely... but anyway let me know how it turns out for ya... be good

Well I think your hair turned out great. I really like the effect that Deva Curl gave your hair. I have Lorraine Massey's book, the woman that started the whole CG idea and owns the Devachan salon. I have her book and it really helped me once I went totally CG. The method is great and really works. Clearly, her products are working well for you because YOU LOOK GREAT! Love your hair!

Thanks for posting this, Ive heard great things about deva curl. Its funny you mentioned kccc- Im sitting here with some on my hair right now, wondering if whole foods has a return policy. Too cute! I've been tempted to try Deva Curl, but wasn't sure about it.

Oooh, I finally found some Taliah Waajid Loc n Twist Gel and I absolutely LOVE it! Now, it does have a very soft hold (my twists were very FAT twists by the end of the day) but talk about soft, OMG it was unbelievable.

I can't wait until my hair gets your length. It is just too cute.

Have you found that the longer your hair gets the more or easier curl separation is? Idk if I'm explaining myself properly, what i mean is like, for my hair type I have to do the tightly curly method to get my coils to separate. When I try a wash and go my hair looks mostly matted and a lot of my coils and curls are just abolished when I do a wash and go.

actually I seemed to get more curl definition when it was short.... but now if I don't have product on my hair u really can't see any curl pattern at all ... maybe a little on the ends and that's it... it just looks like a big afro with some curly pieces stickin out...so that is why I let my wash n go's go a while back... but this product seems to help that ...but Lord knows I still hate having wet hair when I leave the house...

Oh, okay. :o/ Thanks for the reply. Man I was really hoping I wasn't gonna have to spend the rest of my natural life manually separating my coils. Oh well. I guess it's worth it right? I mean it is worth it because it looks so good when it's done. And it certainly looks better than when my hair was permed. And that speaks volumes because I did have really nice "looking" permed hair. You always have to make a sacrifice for what you want I guess.
