Why do you think instructors are responsible for the strike? WLUFA is not asking for anything even close to full time faculty. Even grad students at Carleton are paid $9000 for a course and UW graduate students can make close to $7000. The salary of the president ($350,000) would take care of the wage increase sought by WLUFA.
Doesn't he and the other highly paid administration share any responsibility for offering such a small amount to people who need to make a living like everybody else?
You should be ashamed taking out your financial goals on the welfare of students. If you do not care about the students we do not care about you. You have ZERO support from us like minded students. Heres a news flash, theres a reason you are CONTRACT workers, the majority of you do not even have full Ph.Ds. Who gives benefits to contract workers anyways? Hope you get all your contracts terminated.
