I haven't heard of the VG Strat, I may have to check it out. Actually, I build all of my guitars from spare parts that I buy. That's one of the reasons that I prefer Fender; almost any neck will easily go onto any body. I've broken a few necks and they are simple to replace, unless you break a Gibson.
When I saw your video "I got five" the first thing I thought was that you look like a South Park character. Now I can see why :)

Does it show? Yeah, I love a ton of bands including The Who but they seam to have the biggest influence on me. I hear it a lot, but I don't mind!
