1 How was Spain overrated? They won the Euro Cup and had been unbeaten in 3 years. The US straight up beat Spain, not by lucky set pieces or own goals, it was a beating. They also took the game to the Brazilians in the first half of the final but choked in the second.

2 - 2002 WC was only 7 years ago and that isn't long if you are over 25.
