This is EXACTLY what Jared is warning against. He says point blank he does not have a social networking acct, ergo A) he does not have an acct., or B) if he does, it's personal & private for friends/family & he's not going to tell us about it 'cause it's none of our freakin' business.

If he had an "official" one, CW would publicize it like they did with Jim & Misha.

Point being, he says he doesn't have one. Those that are accessible to the public (or that fans can find) are fake. Period.

Actually I see Jim and Misha as the type. They are the "type" which is enjoying communicating with the fans. Each of them on very different levels and how they think it's best. Misha on a fun level, entertaining and kind of lovely mocking and Jim on a more serious appreciating way.

Jensen and Jared both said they hardly go on the internet because they don't like what they see there and I can just imagine what would happen if they really had twitter. Cont.

Jim's FB/Twit/MS accts are well-documented real. I believe they came out of his correspondences when his wife was ill. His book is a collection of e-mails he made at that time keeping friends & family updated.

In fact, his MS page was where much of the fandom first heard about Kim Manner's passing. Jim is an extremely eloquent wordsmith and a pleasure to read.

Misha is just nuts. :-)

The reason J said what he said was to prevent fans from being duped, whether now or in the future. Which is exactly what these "new" accts are trying to do.
