What is your description for DIY?

They will freeze in the winter IF left outdoors.....

I will be draining mine and putting plugs where the houses feed the barrels.

Here is an idea, put the barrel system inside your pole barn. I'm assuming it will not get cold enough to freeze in there.

Lets get together, I would like to help with brainstorming on this setup.

i thought about putting one of those barrels out by my shop since i dont have water

run out there , i was gonna build a platform about 6 ft high to set it on .

then let gravity feed the water to a sink inside the shop so i can wash my hands

and have water to wet sand stuff im painting . i was just gonna run the drain out into the gravel .

what happens in winter ??

do you have to drain them or are the barrels tough enough not to split ??
