  • This is amazing - been a fan since I was first terrified as the age of four (almost 31 now) and possibly the best opening I've seen

  • My Doctor. major squee.

  • Very good

  • That was an awesome piece of work! Like how you made the face fade just right as it was zooming in. And the tone or re verb of the music makes it sound more intense! Again,I really liked it. Nice job!

  • They need to use it one day....with a different Doctor's face though.

  • this is by far one of the best fan made dr who themes I have ever seen. If the audio quality was a bit higher (not a big whoop), THEN it would be THE best! hehe I love the red glare you brought to this video

  • Cool!

  • Its Easy If You HAve Got Realtek. Just Simply Go To Sound Affects, Lower The Karaoke By 2% And There You HAve It!

  • I loved that.

  • Time Trek.

  • WOW... Very nice!

  • nice vid sony vegas is the best

  • They should of used this instead of Murray Gold's theme

  • Хм... в конце со скоростью напутали)

Thanks for video, короче говоря XD

  • Not bad!

  • That was fantastic :D

I think the idea of doing a new, retro style opening title sequence (even if it's only for one episode per series) for Christopher, David and Matt would have been a great idea.

Maybe they'll do somthing for the 50th anniversary in 2013.

  • another fantasic doctor who concoction *****!

  • Five stars!!

  • Love the theme tune!

  • They really should be doing this for current Doctors and not just have ended with the McCoy era.

  • awesome work, just needed the 1974 theme to complete the perfect (Y)

  • smurf eccleston :L

  • Where did you get this from

  • This is how the early '80s intro should have been.

  • this is awsome

  • Yes, props for this one. An excellent sequence that rivals the actual Eccleston one.

  • Nicely done. GZ.

  • AMAZING

  • Cool!

  • Really well done! Wish the actual one was more like this!

  • Quite fitting for the Time War intro eh?

  • LOVE IT :)

  • Did you make that theme or did you get it from whomix. It's awesome. If you did get it from whomix, can please tell me the name of the mix.

  • @rmxppool

    Mixed it myself ;)

  • awesome! pure awesomness

  • thats very good

  • Well done!

  • This is great. Well done!

  • I also wish they'd done the current title sequence like this too. Brilliant!

  • I wish they had done something like this instead of the intro they used

  • im wet!

  • I love the warping you did at the beginning with the 'sting'

  • I really hope the "face" comes back in the new series, and with the new logo and the fact that they seem to want to go retro I am really praying for this.

  • Brilliant!

  • Excellent!

  • that's AWESOME!

  • good intro ^^

  • this is perfect

  • Fantastic - top notch job. Many thanks.

  • wow this is great love the face good job =]

  • This is really good. I like this quite a lot. I truly wish they would have gone back to the face when they returned. It would have set up the return perfectly.

  • I totally agree with you. I hope the new production goes with showing the Doctor's face.

  • Considering the next Doc's face, I'd prefer not to see it in the intro...grand disappointment.

  • I disagree. It looks fine. Every new actor deserves a chance.

  • I agree but the blue color is a little much

  • face is fine its the blue coler

  • I like this very much, I really do. Fantastic work.

  • Nice!!! So... how 'bout a closing title?

  • Fantastic! (as the Doc would say)

  • How did you do all that with the 9th doctor picture?

  • Nicely done!!!

  • so nice, did u use vegas? to edit? well done

  • Cheers - yup Vegas 7

  • omg, ilove the starfield intro anyway and addin all those other effecfs werewell gud, love the red logo!

  • very nice! and nice to know mr.moffett is gonna bring it back. Bring back the face! lol

  • How the heck is Peter Davison bringing back the face in the titles?

  • lol, i meant stephen moffatt is bringing it back in the new series....it says it like 3 comments up.

  • I know, I just like teasing people who spell his name with an e instead of an a. Although seriously, don't you think seeing the face in the titles would be a little cheesy these days? However, I guess it depends what kind of face they pull.

  • great video

  • Stephen Moffett said he wanted to bring the face back when he started the next series!!!

  • Where'd you hear that? That's great news, far as I'm concerned. :)

  • He says it on the DVD commentary for silence in the library!

  • I love this opening.

Especially when his face shows up and then vanishes... *chills*

  • two thumbs up....wish this was an original...congrats to the creator

  • one of the better ones, Extremely Well Done.

  • Why are videos some times unavaliable? Is it maintnace? Or is it just too many people viewing it?

  • wow! that was brilliant

  • That was brilliant!!!! Better than the proper titles!!!

  • this was amazing! if only!

    x

  • If only RTD had brought it back like that *sigh*

  • Where did you get the music from.

  • it is the old title music it's just been slowed down and a slight echo added

  • Ilike the sound here, the base and the dum-de-dum is deeper and the echo is effective. They should bring the base back on the new series tune more, it's got a bit too 'disney'.

  • Not bad but i think you used a little to much red makes it seem a little to aggressive for my taste.

  • This even better than the new one.

  • Brilliant!

  • Thats Brilliant

  • Im loving the Red title haha

    I'd watch tom bakers first

intro and thought of what it would look

lke totally red, but the tardis was still

blue when it showed up haha

but im no good with movie makers

  • hey could you possibly make a intro for my series? I would make a tribute video to you and send a picture of me to make it! if you can comment on my channel.

  • Could you please cause my computer just got wiped completey. I would really appreciate it :)

  • Thanks mate; I did do a DT one a while ago but it wasn't as good - now he's on his way out I should attempt another really. Stay tuned...

  • love it. wtg

  • Very nicely done there.

  • That's awesome mate.

  • this should have been 05 theme

  • How Do you people Do this! Its amaxing!

I only remix the theme music but to do that... Well ... its beyond me! Well Done!

  • Me likey - mucho fantasticado

  • AMAZING!!!! WELL DONE!!!!! I like how you made the starfield 3D and the pitch of the music. 5/5 :)

  • I also liked the red title.

  • I've got hooked on these custom titles as well, and feel the urge rising to try it myself. Anyone know the best software for the job?

  • Im using Sony Vegas 8 but I guess the best thing to use use in conjunction would be Shockwave or some sort Adobe anime package... The true purists should try it for real on film :P

  • I've been watching a large number of these over the past couple of days since I got broadmand and home - square eyes looming if I'm not careful! I loved this version and thought the late-Pertwee star lines were integrated brilliantly. Thank you.

  • Cheers for that - I must admit I wasnt the first to do that with the 73 streaks - I took the cue from whopix on YouTube - kudos to him...

  • If you asked me Cristopher Eclleston was my favorite Doctor.

  • I liked him better then David Tennent!

    trekkiefan9.

  • are you serious

  • @startrekgamer When I first saw the Christopher was the doctor in the new series I thought 'HOLY S***!'

  • @startrekgamer

Same here!!! I love the way he portrayed Dr. Who

  • I agree, this would have been better than the new intros for the new series!

  • Class work, mate! Nine is my fave, this is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing! ^_^

  • fantastic!

  • Well done! Very well done! My hats off to you! 10 out of 10.

  • Yup. All the doctors bar William Hartnell and Paul McGann onwards didn't have their face feature in the titles. Starfield = best titles of the lot. Maybe bring back this theme too. To me an orchestra doesn't belong in the theme tune.,

  • This was very well done, and I would have loved the new series even more if they did something similar to this :)

  • Wow!!!!!!!!! that was very creative.

I would have thought that they wanted to keep the introduction sequence similar to the first introduction of the original series.

    Well done.

  • i would have loved to see this instead of the new series titles

  • its realy good how you did this

  • Excellent

  • Personally, I reckon they should do the face again. Seeing the Tardis fly around is nowhere near as exciting in my opinion.

  • I prefer the TARDIS flying around.

  • me too i love episodes of doctor who where the tardis is shown, or when there in the tardis.that is my favorite bit, because i love too see the tardis console room and too be able to hear the hum of the tardis engines ,when the doctor and his companions are talking.

  • orignially it was brilliant. but it just didnt hav the ever lasting value of say the tom baker titles

  • :o

    heritic lol

    tom baker is the greatest

  • I like looking at the old themes, I like the way you know which doctor you're seeing!

  • Thanks for that :)

  • I used to love it when the zooming stars made the outline of the doctors face and then faded to the picture of them. I think it was Tom baker who they did it with originally.

  • Awesome vid! Why don't people edit the dhotos when they make these title videos? If you had edited out Ecclestons' neck & collar it would have looked absolutely perfect. Just a little tiny thing, I know- don't tase me bro!

  • Thanks for the comment, much appreciated as always! Personally I never liked the 'face only' concept as it always reminded me of pantomime posters and myself being a Bernard Lodge purist, couldn't resist keeping the shoulders in like he did with his title sequences up to 1980. Each to their own :-)

  • Very good, I liked it :)

  • I like season 4's of the new Doctor Who intro better. srry.

  • Dont apologise - so do I!

  • I love the retro Doctor Who title sequence because it's so much cooler than the new series one.

  • that clip is nice, I'm just waiting for rose to step out of the Tardis and say "so Doctar, where are we now"

  • This is actually pretty sweet :-) I wish I had that starfield to mess around with, ha ha!

  • This shows Ecclestone's face perfectly...he had the best 'Doctor face' ever I think.

  • Sylvester McCoy and Eccleston were the best Doctors in my opinion. Series 3 was dumbed down a LOT from the Eccleston eps.

  • witch intro do you like of David Tennant i like the new one

  • Do you not like David Tennant inytros

  • Yes I do

  • OOOOOOOOO, ahhhhhh, pass the bong please.

  • that... sent... shivers... down... my back!

    AWESOME!

  • Witch is your best Doctor out 1 to 10

  • 6 8 or 9

  • COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!

  • that was freaking mega awsome man

  • this si good but if i saw this on my screen in 2005 i would of thought doctor who went butch...

  • The howell theme was the greatest, however this version is better :^D how far down do you change the pitch for this?

  • Thanks :-) From F to D sharp I think with added delay.

  • That was simply awesome. That's what the credits should have been like for the new series.

Do you have David Tennant as well

  • That was totally amazing.... Christopher was a brillaint Doctor and still is the best!

  • what sci-fi show would you recommend?

  • That coming from a person who has all the Sylvester mccoy dvds, all of collin bakers dvds and a few of tom bakers and peter davisons. Admit it phillip your a closet fan of Doctor Who.

  • That definately WORKS!. You know, Chris should reconsider coming back, if for nothing but one of the 2009 specials.

  • I agree. Eccleston was my favorite Doctor, and it really ticked me off when he regenerated too early. I think a 9th-10th Doctor story would really kick up the series, especially if they get McGann in there and explain the missing regeneration and the Time War.

  • WELL, he's now got the semi-star power to do it and it would be a HUGE DRAW. He's got the American recognition with his gig in "Heroes" as well as his upcoming bad guy role as "Destro" in "GI JOE" due OUT in 2009...The BBC has got to come off the bux to do it you know? They can't be stingy now.

I continue to be one of the screamers concerning Paul McGann being given his fair due. Ideally, the 4 2009 specials will ALL be about the Time War, with him as The Doctor told from Chris/David's angle.

  • Interesting Idea. We've had other episodes like this, "The Ten Doctors" Would be the best yet...

  • wow :o

  • That...was...AWESOME!!!!! 'Nuff said.

  • could you give me your email please because i would like to send you a fab david tennant head that you could put on!

  • Wicked!

  • Dude....What program did you use??? Thumbs up btw on the video.

  • Thanks for that - Sony Vegas is the fella - highly useful for editing but not so good for morphing, cgi etc...

  • WOW! I've got the Howell version of the theme (more specifically, Fifth's version; Sixth sounds sharper) for my ringtone, as an MP3. This version is so much funkier!

  • Nice!

  • wow, i am very impressed. nice work indeed. takes me back to the baker/davidson era.

  • HOW?!

  • excellent work. I'd so wish they'd bring back the tradition of including the Dr's face in the intros

  • I love the combined boom/sting at the beginning. Great work!

  • not bad, I like it

  • thats pretty darn good

  • love the intro. thats not cool how come they dont show this on tv. are they hiding shows. because that dont seem far. i want to see what happen before rose began and after the doctor who movie.

  • Uh, no, WinsterMoves made this up, I think.

  • Oh ok

  • wow cool how did you get that music or where

  • Thanks; Processing the Howell version to make it sound like the Derbyshire one: ie same pitch and delay.

  • That. Was. Amazing.

  • now THAT was awesome. great work

  • It would be great if they got rid of 1 parters and repalced them with 3 parters. My favourite system was the system they had for Jon PErtwee's time which was 5 stories per year with 26 episodes per year or 28 with 5 stories, with maybe one season every five years have 4 stories. I would explain but would use up more space.
