It sounds heavy compressed because of some shitty mic. But yeah, with a good cajon u can play fingers and it sounds loud. I have slagwerk and i loosed screws at top so i got also this sound too.

I play with the finger tips, but this is some extremely tightly played stuff here. I guess the post it note is to make it more snare-sounding. This way, you don't have to move the hand at all between the bass and snare sound. Gotta try that.
