I am not Palestinian but I have a Keffiyah I bought in the West Bank this past November. I love it as it does represent my own personal solidarity/support for the issue.

I think Palestinians and Arabs shouldnt get upset over the use in pop culture. Take the example of Che Guevara. People wear his face on shirts but a majority have no idea who he is and what he has done. Instead of getting angry, use it as an opportunity to teach others about the Palestinian struggle against the occupation.
