  • loved this movie, so sweet

...children are so innocent and just want to be loved

Yet grown ups wage war and orphan so many children

    Shame on us

  • were did the bear go plz some1 tell me

  • That look on David's face when he gives her the hair !! lol

  • give him what he wants... :) thank u mister robot for give David the happines :)

  • When my parents separated for a few years back when I was 7 I was David, I really related to missing my mother. This was back before broken families were common so on mothers day, christmas, valentines day I really missed her. When they reconciled when I was 10 it was the happiest day of my life because Most of all, my mothers name is Monica too.

  • i love this part for the once an individuals space time pathway had been used it could not be reused that part speaks volumes because god made us in his image and one life is all we will get when we leave the shell its over and into forever never to return what have you spent you space time pathway on ? for god or self for life forever more or death (burning) forever more

  • Emotive parallel lines, pulling strings.

I saw a glimpse of love that has endured in my memory.

    A fine film!

    :d*

  • why are the future robot's doing this for him, just because he new humans doesn't make him especially deserving in of him self.... also if they can bring back actually humans (even just for one day) what makes a robot who just new humans so important, why don't they just bring back Leonardo da Vinci or Shakespeare and forget this kids happiness?

  • @255ad And who is to say they have access to their corpses/DNA? Have you even watched this movie?

  • @InstantK0ed the must have access to some humans to know the one day rule

  • @255ad Yeah, well obviously theyll come across billions of corpses in the frozen ice, but finding two specific corpses amongst all that would be pretty much impossible, especially two corpses such as those. And how would they be able to identify them when even now, those corpses are probably pretty fucked by now

  • @InstantK0ed those thousand of corpses are still human and there for more useful then this robot who only new humans rather then being one, and actually It would be pretty easy to find the grave of a famous historical figure for example "Shakespeare's grave is located in the chancel of Holy Trinity Church in his birthplace, the English village of Stratford" just go there and did him up

  • @255ad This robot is equal to humans what makes him less???? He is intelegent selfaware and has feelings!! He is a sentient being!!

  • @reviewreviewer1 they clearly state that there interest in him has to do with him having known humans, whether he him self is a sapient (and that's the correct term not "sentient") being or not is not at all relevant to there interest in him based on what we are told, also presumably there all sapient robots too meaning this kid is not particularly special in that regard and so not particularly deserving of the special treatment there going out of their way to give him

  • @255ad I always just assumed it was as simple as....he's sort of their ancestor...he's a primitive version of their kind that has been perfectly preserved... his worth comes from their connection as mechas. Joe was a mecha who was programmed to sleep with women...and yet he also seemed to display a level of care for David.

I mean, they're highly developed beings--their motives might be just as evolved. Don't let this ruin the movie for you.

  • @rememberxjuly their is a big difference between caring about some one because their your friend and caring about them because they represent some abstract idea like "ancestor" for you

  • @255ad So? I'm saying they cared for him... I didn't say Joe and the alien-like mechas had to care for him for the same reason.

  • @rememberxjuly you used Joe's caring as evidence for the other kind of caring
