I'm a buckeye fan, but Schembechler was a great coach. He should be respected, the series he had with Ohio State was nothing short of legendary. Besides, Woody respected the man, and wouldn't want him to be treated this way.

Actually, wiseass...there is a group in Ann Arbor called the Dropkick Woodys. Plus if you'd take the time to read the comments posted, you'll see that the band disbanded after their final concert this past Friday and are donating all proceeds to a charity of Bo's family's choice.

Furthermore,I think all OSU and Mich fans alike can realize what Bo(and Woody)have done for this game.Tomorrow wouldn't mean nearly as much.It saddens me to know Bo won't be here watching the game,but it makes me even happier knowing he's up in heavens with his mentor Woody Hayes;Two crazy old men who would do anything for their team,even if it meant bleeding maize and blue/scarlet and grey to their graves.

Yea as a Michigan fan, and a huge fan of the OSU/UM rivalry, this group brought something special, whether you liked it or not. Just like the last post mentioned, the DS were huge fans of Bo, and are musical artists/actors who are followed by a leigion of Buckeye fans. If Michigan had the equivalent, we would run with it too.

Besides, the band played their last show as the Dead Schembechlers tonight. They changed the sign at the Newport to "God Bless Bo." They're donating all proceeds from the concert to a charity of Bo's family's choice. Some of you really, really need to simmer down and take the group for what it was, a tongue-in-cheek band that had fun with the rivalry.

The Dead Kennedy's were formed in the late 70's, many years after the Kennedy's deaths, and then a part of history.. This bands name mocked the proposed death of a man who has now died, i guess their music worked? Karma is gonna get you. I wonder how "cool" their name seems now?
