Those wheels will not work on an Xbox or any games on it, including Forza Motorsport4.

I am not sure , but the end result would be the same as the G25/27 review of the XCm. It turns a wheel into a gamepad essentially. I wouldnt recommend it for serious use.

@10forgram I dont think so, the wheel in game just doesnt have 900 degree rotation like the wheel that youre actually using, but the wheels respond just fine.

once you patch the converter from XMCs websight the deadzone problems improve.. its still not perfect but its good enough. the H-Shifter sadly doesn't work but the sequential shifter does work on the G25. Ive been using this for Test Drive Unlimited 2 and forza and its much better then using a controller and buying a new wheel.

I just got my F1 XCM cross fire today and I love it. unlike the video says the buttons on the wheel can be swapped around on the converter using the program button.. and you can use a PS3 controller on the 360

We would not have to use plastic china made products like this one, if Microsoft wouldn't fail. There is no good wheel for x360 sims because all of them are reserved for PS3. Thank You MS for forcing us to use green plastic box which emulates pad behavior and maybe won't mess up with your wheel. Still everybody r happy because they know what to expect from MS so this is like a thanksgiving for people like me who made this mistake and bought 360 piece of crap. Anyway - good movie!

Great video! I have a Driving Force GT for my PC and PS3 but I do most of my gaming on either PC or Xbox 360 and considering most of my driving games are on 360 I've always been wanting to use my DF GT wheel with it, glad there is finally a solution, and with the device getting updates I am sure there has been huge improvements over the deadzone. Looks like I'll have to order one of these and give it a go...

dont get the fanatec wheels, the one thats compatible with the 360, naturally, is $250 for the wheel itself, $50 to get pedals, and the 6+1 shifter set is another $15 (i think i may have "airballed" the price here) or the clubsport edition for like $400 (ballparking that). itd be cheaper to go with converter and the DFGT wheel.

I don't have a wheel for the 360 and not really in a position to buy a fanatec. I do have one more question though I'm not sure you can answer it. Currently, the Fanatec is 4+ months out on back orders, so if you want a wheel that works for all systems now, this is your only option. I did review on this converter last week. I would not recommend it, it has a horrible dead zone!

I'll stick with my Xbox 360 wheel for now. As you mentioned the force feedback isn't 100% with this method. I probably won't buy a new wheel until this one dies, or console generation change (when I'll decide if I go to back to PC for gaming, or the next gen systems).

Have you tried plugging in a xbox 360 wheel to the F1 XCM Crossfire Converter instead of a wired xbox controller before plugging in a Logitech wheel? Then the xbox would see it as an xbox wheel.

Thanks for the quick review on this SRT, I've been hoping for a XBOX360 solution for my G27, just wish it worked out of the box like it did for GT5 which allowed me to cross over to the console sim world and buy a PS3 for GT5... Too bad Microsoft doesn't see the potential to sell lots of XB360s from us PC simracers with wheels crossing over to Forza3 or 4, the GT2 looks like a great wheel but Fanatec needs to sort out their support/quality problems before I buy. Will watch for this XCM product.

I'd say the g25. But until there is a great wheel for the 360 just go with whats avaliable.Dont get that little converter piece.No realism what so ever unless you just have to use a wheel,then change to the ps3.

@StonedRambo01 I'd definitely say the xbox 360 wheel, it gives you proper FFB (as good quality that wheel can give, not perfect but better than converted rumble FFB) And with forza at least, 100% control over the actual wheel movement, copying the controller (Pad/stick) steering limits how much the G25 will allow you to turn at higher speed aka steering assist. You can see the difference in control when looking at Shaun using the fully supported fanatec GT2, it's instant and has full range,

Instead of going through all that trouble, one may as well use the Microsoft Wireless Racing Wheel. I play all those games with that wheel(limited with NFS:S though) and the wheel works great. Plus it costs only 100USD.
