I have just started to watch this show again from the beginning. This is maybe my 4th or 5th time, but it still is as exiting as it was at the first time. This is The best ever made TV-show in history maybe from the start to the final scene. I can't describe the feeling when watching this, it's so authentic feeling and true the whole time. The best thing is that they show the criminal, police and legistic side of everything. This isn't just about police or criminal this is about everything.

@cyber0nemesis I can safely say that this is BETTER than breaking bad! i am a huge fan of breaking bad, but breakingbad has a really slow pace specially with long scenes that don't matter and take forever. In this show, although at first it takes a while to get good, once it does it never stops! ....not sure what you mean by action though.

I started watching The Wire on Netflix awhile ago because I heard people say it was the best show ever (top critics too). Being a fan of quality TV (mostly), I checked it out and was absorbed. Though not my favorite, it is certainly one of the best. "The king stay the king..."

This is excellent! The Mcnutty voice over at the beginning is brilliant idea and the music works really really well.

My only complaint is it's just a bit too long. If you could cut some bits so that it's a minute a less it would be perfect.

Yes Yes Yes! Great work! I'm halfway through season 2 and I can't really bring myself to do anything else until I finish the series. I thought I should take a break and sit back and enjoy being the middle of the series (which I unfortunately never did while I was racing through Six Feet Under), and this fan vid is a perfect way to do that. I used Sony Vegas Pro. I think they still have a trial on their website that's good for 30 days... if not, there are other programs out there that can do the job. I'm new to this, so I don't know if that is the best one to use or not, but it's pretty straightforward, just experiment with it first! To capture the clips I used VirtualDub. I think there is a tutorial on youtube somewhere that explains how to capture the clips easily.

Im gonna start at season 5 soon now, And I will rank the previous seasons fair in my opinion... Season 1 is awsome ,makes u continue watching, second season is the weakest, third and fourth season is AWSOME. Hope S5 will be the same, shame its over after that... ;( peace

I'm glad you're liking it! I enjoyed season 5, but it is a little faster paced than previous seasons for sure (only 10 episodes, plus they had to wrap-up the series in addition to letting the story play out). Personally, I like season 2 more than others, but that is because I like The Greek and his organization. I think it was a nice change of pace, giving another point of view from of the city.

Yeah, the show isn't for everybody, especially how the story is more like a novel, slowly developing, than a series of self-contained episodes like many of the other crime shows on tv.
