@dobba92 I'll tell you one thing. The Android team must've known about them way before the deal closed. The close collaboration with partnering OEMs will have lead to interesting news about prototypes and advanced-stage whiteboard stuff for devices (not necessarily tablets or smartphones or even smart tv's; new form factors altogether) that reached the Google triumvirate preeeeetty quickly.

@tesliana no eternal partner, only interest. All Google acquisitions are to protect or expand Google's core business: search and advertising. YouTube for video search, android for mobile search, Chrome for cloud search someday and map for local business advertising. G+M, is to protect Android from Apple or MS patents sue, then protect mobile search and advertising on phone.

@abdullahthebutcher He just needs some experience in public speaking. Can be hard to start, but when speaking bug bites you, you become like Schmidt - able to talk for hours on the spot :) Anyway Page gives impression of a really nicest humble guy.
